Great little place that has yummy muffins, great sandwiches and lovely soup on offer for your workday breakfast or lunch. Great healthy/organic range and quality products on offer.

This place has the standard fried food options but also fine tasting sandwiches all at reasonable prices. Extremely friendly service though which puts this place a step above some of the locals. Well worth a try for lunch, drinks or snacks.

The first thing I want to say is great, friendly and smiling staff here (girl at the bar and I ended having a nice chat about the place). Great choice of drinks and food that is different with an African/Asian twist. Apparently this place was inspired by illegal bars (shebeens) in South Africa and the shanty town decor (corrugated iron facade) reflects this. This place is also not-for-profit to provide developing countries a helping hand. So step up and try it out the flavoursome and different food is sure to delight.

Plain little place on corner across the road from Vic market. Stopped by for lunch here on the weekend in surprisingly quiet area for how close to everything it is. Chicken spring rolls were nicely spiced and tasty ($9 for 6) with diced beef, garlic and rice for mains tasty and filling. Good value.

Came for dinner with the wife and we both had a relaxing, enjoyable evening. Lovely warm atmoshere and good decor. Great scotch fillet with garlic sauce, tender and tasty. Service attentive and friendly. Not cheap and book ahead but all worth it.

Came here for a work dinner and we all had fun. Most of us ordered the supposedly famous parma (at the urging of the waitress) but it was good not great, although the portion is generous. Fun place to be with friends.

Tried this one as we had eaten previously at the CBD creperie. Came here for sweets and ended up having crepes with Nutella, strawberries and almonds drizzled in syrup. Absolutely yummy! Will recommend.

Tiny little place that my wife and I had late lunch in. Both of us loved the savoury and sweet crepes. Anything with Nutella is good! Fine service but a bit slow and the crepes were delicious.

Ran by this store recently and popped in for some bread which smelled good and seemed fresh. Service was fast & fine and the sliced loaf at $3.80 was ok priced.

Found this small butcher on an outing recently and seems to be selling top quality meat. The beef roast was lean and just pure meat. The guy was friendly and ready to chat about his products and seems to be possibly a family business but did not ask. More range and service here than the supermarkets and would return if close by again.
