Went for breakfast with friends, services was very slow. Waited 45mins for our order to be taken and told that we should order before a large group. Waited 1 hour for food, not acceptable and quality of food was average. Would not recommend

Have been there a few times, the food is ok but you will just as good in many other places for the same price. The atmosphere is terrible, last time dining there I tripped over boxes lining the narrow corridor thta leads to the toilets. The whole place is tatty. Last time we tried to go there for a quick meal we were shown a table that was right under a cold blasting of air from the airconditioner. As we had all just recovered from illness we did not want to sit in this position. There were several other table the same size vacant so we asked to move. The waiter was extremely rude and complained about the fact we had asked to move. we politely explained that as customers we did not expect to be treated this way and said as it was so much of a problem for him we would find somewhere else to eat and we left. We will never return there again. The up side of this was that we found a great noodle place a few doors down which we now frequent for quick meals.

Great atmosphere felt like being in an old italian village restaurant and bopught back memories of dining in Tuscany. Sevice was excellent,very friendly and wait staff knew the menu well and understood the wine list and suggested great wines that matched our food, without being overly priced. The food was great and the flavour excellent. The sorbet between main and dessert and the nougat plate after the dessert was a nice touch. I would say that value for money was excellent at around $80 per head for 3 courses with wine and beer. Our group of 6 dines out each month and expect to pay around $120 per head so this was a pleasant surprise. A great place, try it for your next dinner. Id particularily recommend the ravioli.

Went for breakfast last sunday morning. Food was good as expected, however service was terrible. We choose the signature breakfast which included juice, champagne,fresh fruit, yoghurt, honey platters to share and an individual serve of bacon eggs mushroom tomatoe and coffee We all enjoyed the food, however the services was another story. The wait staff were sloppily dressed and wandered around like they were nursing hangovers not a good look in a upmarket restaurant. We were never offerred the champagne or juice and when we ordered coffee it took 20 mins and then some were forgotten. I could maybe forgive them if it was busy but the restaurant is small and there were only about 15 people there. Based on theb very poor service I would not recommend this restaurant and will not go back there again despite the beautiful location by the lake.

Went with a group of ten people for a celebratory dinner, a number of them from Melbourne. All agreed the food was good.The service was not bad but not great, drink service was particularily slow and on a number of occassions the waiter returned after about 15 minutes to say that they were out of what was ordered, this included beer and bottled wine. The food took a long time to get after orders were placed (about 1 hour). The food was great when it arrived. We shared a variety of dishes . No one dish was outstanding but all were very good.

Best restaurant in canberra, food and service superb. The view over canberra is great. Six of us go out for dinner every 2 months and take turns in choosing the restaurant. This was a great evening, the staff were great and the food was awesome.
