Well I had a little accident on Feb 2nd 2016, A Lady Backed into my Work Vehicle while on a Job for her, She decided she wanted to go through her Insurance!
09/03/16 Suncorp have me booked in for an assessment and I was told my Van would be there all day, I advised the person on the Phone from Suncorp that this was my Work Vehicle and It is my Income! She said they could organise a hire vehicle for me and I could move my things to the hire vehicle for the Day, Now those that know me, know I have a fully packed Van! be like asking a Mobile Mechanic to do the same?
Any way took Van in for Assessment, and told that they need to order a Part! I had taken my Van to a repairer within the next couple of Days and Obtained a Quote for The Lady that Backed into me! and Advised that a Part will have to be Ordered, That was Obtained on the 11/02/16 and send to the Suncorp Client.

After Chasing up what was happening this week, was advised I would be better off calling the Repairer to find out when the Part will get in, I am so Glad that the Damage was not so bad as to put my WORK, SOURCE OF INCOME off the road!!!

I have mentioned this before!

Maybe the Insurance needs to look at what happens if your client is involved in an Accident with a Tradesman who needs their Van/Ute for Income?

Very helpful, I had to get a Quote from a Lady backing into my new LDV Van, not only helpful with the Quote but very good priced too, only very sorry now her insurance has directed me to another shop to get fixed, lets see how they do with service!

Went in to Victory Ford to check out and Test drive the new LDV Van. Nick Kerlos and Brett James were both very helpful.

I get to pick up my new Work Van in the next few days, looking forward to my new van to help me help more customers through out the Tweed, and Gold Coast Area, with more space to help service my customers and better economy to help my business.
