Went here for a lunch whilst staying in Melbourne. It is New Orleans food in Melbourne. It took me more than 10 minutes to decide what to have and settled for the "Voodoo Chicken Slider" $5.50 each or 2 for $10 and had fries with that. Looked and smelt delicious, I bit into it and thought I had cracked my tooth as there was like biting into a piece of bone. Ouch! I was extremely careful with it after that, but decided not to finish it and I didn't want to risk a broken tooth. What I did taste was really nice. I tried my husbands Pulled Pork Baguette which was loaded with pickles, spanish onions, slaw, tomato - just to mention a few. Really delicious! ($10.90) our kids ordered the Pulled Beef which also looked delicious. All the food is "New Orleans Soul Food" and I have to say it really was quite nice and the prices were reasonable for the servings you received. Quite a large menu and they also serve breakfast from around 7:30am. Not very much room inside for eating, you can also eat outside along a busy road (not for us) or you can have it as take out. We received our order promptly and the service was very friendly.

This review is for The Basin Fish Shop And Take-Away, The Basin VIC

It had been some time since having take away from this fish and chip shop (it was delicious back then) thought it would be great to have some with the family while visiting relatives in Melbourne. It was so disappointing, the chips tasted like cardboard, the potato cakes were average as were the dim sims. The fish was ok, it was stuck to the paper and just fell apart. The chip serving was very generous but didn't make up the the lack of taste. The overall experience wasn't great at all. Not the way I remembered it to be. Maybe under new management. However, they were very quick in getting our order filled and they were quite friendly and the prices were quite reasonable. Just the food - was average. Will be going to another fish and chip shop next time we visit.

I tried a couple of Gordo's Pizzas and Pasta a couple of months ago and found them to be quite delicious, cooked perfectly, the crust just right and heaps of toppings! They cost a bit more than other pizza shops but they are worth it. As for their pasta - Yummo! They have quite a large menu including burgers, even curries at times. They have different specials during the week - they write them on a board outside so you know what's on for that week. The only issue I had with them is that they are not open monday and tuesday. Friendly service and happy atmosphere. Try them out, you will enjoy!

I tried this Cafe as living in Meadows I thought I should support local business. I was glad that I did. I had a nice cuppa as did my friend and we shared some cake. It was really nice coffee and cake and a really friendly country atmosphere. There is seating outside - nicer in warmer weather. And it is really a buzz on saturdays. They service breakfast and lunch. Adjoining the cafe is their mind and body shop as well as a small plant nursery. There is also tarot and palm readings - if you are interested. It's got the lot. It was nice having a coffee and then browsing through their shop. A lovely place to go in small Adelaide Hills town.

Coffee Lovers Rejoice!!!! I have found the best coffee in Adelaide CBD, absolutely delicious (is a little pricey - but worth it) Loved my Latte! I tried their "Cronuts" - looks like a donut but it is filled with custard and coated in vanilla bean sugar. Oh My! Really Yummy! I had to take some home for the family - 3 for $10. They sell out of the Cronuts very quickly, so you have to hurry. They have many other treats to try whilst you are enjoying your Coffee. Very clean and friendly service, even when they are really busy - which is often. Will definitely return when we are in town again. Highly recommend to all COFFEE LOVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think WOMO is fantastic!!!! I have only been reviewing for a few weeks now, but have absolutely enjoyed it. I enjoy reading and commenting on peoples reviews. It is interesting reading other reviewers opinions on the same businesses I review. I have found contacting "Customer Care" easy, any questions I have asked have been responded to very quickly. This site has helped me pick my accommodation for an upcoming trip. I am grateful, as I did get a great deal. I just wish I had discovered WOMO a lot sooner.

This is a great Adelaide Hills pub with wonderful friendly service. The open fire really makes you feel cosy and warm in winter, while in summer it is really nice sitting outside. I found it to be a little expensive - but worth it. I tried the Beef & Guinness Pie and my husband some Kangaroo, absolutely delicious. They have a huge menu, even cater for vegetarians The kids have a large menu as well around $11 for a main meal with dessert. Well worth the money. Well worth a trip into the hills for a great meal. You will enjoy!!!!

If you are out visiting the Wineries in the Mclaren Vale area, make sure you drop in to this Cafe. They serve great coffee, hot chocolate, milk shakes and their food is delicious. I have only been for lunch and haven't been in the evening yet, but definitely will. The weekends are hectic - very busy, but you still get fast service. I prefer during the week - I like it a little less busy. Friendly service - even when busy. Really enjoyed and will return.

This is the place to go for your meat. I don't think you could find meat any cheaper than here!!!! I receive an email from them every week informing me of their specials. Lamb shanks $1.50 each (sometimes $1 each), skinless chicken breast fillets $6.99kg and loin chops $9.99kg - just to mention a few. They change each week, but their prices are cheap all the time. The best butcher in town! Very friendly service. Highly recommend

I ordered takeaway here while visiting with friends. Have to say the pizza was quite nice - ordered the House Special and the El Fiesta (which was nice and spicy). The pizzas cost over $26 each. I cannot say that they were worth it. It was 25 minutes before the pizzas were ready. It wasn't busy at all. They were very friendly, but a bit slow and expensive. They have a large menu - plenty of choice but found it was all a bit pricey. Probably wont return.
