This motel should NOT be in business. We were charged $140 a night for a dirty, dusty room. The bar fridge in the room still had food on it from the last occupant. The wardrobe had blobs of glue on the back of its wall which would have stuck our clothes if we didnt notice. The so called cleaners obviously dont move beds when the vac, nor do they even wipe the tiles in the shower. Our soap holder over the vanity was full of rust and calcium deposits. The bathroom walls were full of mold and the toliet roll holders still had splatter on them. The inside of the kettle was filthy and so was the tray it sat on. Hubby and i had to get out of the room so we walked through the never ending hallways. On every wall in every hallway there is the same round mirror. I would hate to want to find your room in a hurry as room 220 is next to room 205 which is adjacent to room 124 which is next to room 402. We had to pay $22 for a continental breakfast in the morning but then still had to pay $2.50 for a drink of juice from a popper.

I started to right a long review about this place but after much deliberation i will let you know this
*157 for 3 people for 1 night INCLUDES buffet breakfast.
*We arrived for Breakfast at 8am. Still stacks to choose from and very fresh.
*Restaurant available on site (Don't get the crispy chicken salad, its mainly lettuce)
*Indoor pool, Sauna and gym available to all guests.
*Staff friendly and helpful.
*Plenty of towels, face washers, floor mats available to us.
*Check out was 11am.
Its clean and good for an over night stay.

Very old style Cafe but the food was so nice.
If you do go there try the Chicken, Cream cheese and cranberry Focaccia. It is so good!
We enjoyed our meal there.
Service was good.

I was looking for some fresh coffee beans to purchase but i was unsure which coffee would suit me.A lovely sales lady asked me if i needed help the she fully explained all the different coffee beans to me. Explained the processes and storage of my items. Fantastic service.

Always a great place to stop and have coffee and cakes.
You must try the honey and chicken sausage rolls. To die for!
Huge range of cakes and slices.
They also bake to order massive cakes at a great price.

I was so disappointed when shopping here last week. I reached the check out and started putting my groceries on the conveyor belt. The cashier girl didn't acknowledge me. I said "hello, how is your day going?"
She was too busy whispering to her friends that were behind me that she couldn't give them discount as she was being watched by the manager.
She continued to whisper to them the whole time i was purchasing my 2 weeks of groceries.
When i got home and started unpacking my groceries i had frozen boxes of food in with tissue boxes. The tissue boxes were all mushy.
She had placed glass jars in the same bag as cans.
Young staff here don't seem to have manners and don't seem to know how to place fruit and vegetables into bags without them bruising.
I have to shop here as there is no where else to go.

A female and a hardware store don't exactly mix but at Woody's they help you with any problem you have.
I know i can walk into Woody's and either Paddy or Bob will understand what i want and give me the best solution and a great price.

I had a very long day and tried to drive as far as i could knowing i had to drive more the next day, i was buggered. I pulled into Yass. I saw the huge sign out the front of the Hamilton Hume motor inn and decided that was it.
A lovely gentleman met me at the office and i booked a room.
I went to my room (economy). It was a nice clean room.
bar fridge, dining table with 2 chairs, reverse cycle air con, electric blankets on both beds that worked, tv with free pay tv, shortbread biscuits. who gives shortbread biscuits these days? I am so so glad they did. They are actually my favourite biscuit. Anyway back to the room...
Beds were extremely comfortable.
Bathroom was clean. Yay for a clean bathroom in a hotel/motel!
The bathroom was a long bathroom and the shower was instant hot.
Heaps of power points.
The bedding made me feel like i was at home.
Kettle and toaster in cupboard.
Extra blankets in cupboard.
Clean gardens and car park area.
Seating outside rooms for smokers.
This room is dated but it is comfortable and clean.
Would recommend this motor inn to anyone traveling up and down the Hume highway.
If there was one thing that was wrong with this room, it was the stains on the chairs. Very small problem.

So many pies to choose from! The pies are a good price. I had a lamb and rosemary pie. So nice.
They also do the best take away cappuccino's for $3.50.
There is a lolly shop attached to the pie shop that is worth a look.
A great stop for a bite to eat on your way up or down the coast of NSW.

Great to see this bakery has expanded in a small town.
Great modern bakery with lots of room to sit. You have a choice of stools or table and chairs. Has a sundeck and toilet facilities.
Lovely and warm inside.
You have a choice of pies, sandwiches or cakes and slices.
Sandwiches were very fresh and pies were very flavorsome.
Love to stop here on my way to and from Canberra.
