Great service by very friendly staff.
And I got a great haircut while there, even if it was a little expensive.
I didn't have an appointment but was able to walk in and have my hair cut immediately.
Approximate cost: $29
Great park and a great location.
The sites are spectacular. Most have double slabs - so your van is level and you have concrete to step out on. There is also lawn everywhere.
The amenities are very well set out and clean. The showers are massive so you wont be hitting walls as you dry yourself.
There is a childrens playground which is quite new. There are also gates out to the foreshore area which is a stones throw from the park.
The highlight though is the camp kitchen. It is massive. There are two great big grills, fridges, microwaves, toasters and 2 sinks. There is also a very large TV and a pool table, as well as vending machines.
Approximate cost: $30
A nice small caravan park on the Wakefield river.
The sites are mostly on stones but there are some grassed sites.
There is no (available) camp kitchen but there is a room that you can apparently arrange to use - that looks like a camp kitchen.
There are barbeques at either end of the park, one set has seats and one end doesn't
The amenities are clean
The park is right on the river and beside a park. There is a bridge across to the other side at one end of the park.
Approximate cost: $28
A nice park on the banks of the Port Pirie river.
The powered sites are on gravel and are a reasonable size.
There is a barbeque area - no camp kitchen - with a pay barbeque and some gas burners and seats.
The amenities are clean and a nice size. The water pressure is ok.
The park is a short stroll to the river foreshore beach and walking distance to the town center.
Approximate cost: $32
A very nice park with great facilities.
The park has a camp kitchen - ovens and hotplates included - barbeque areas, a pool, recreation room and a TV room.
The amenities are clean and well organised.
The sites are on loose stones and they are a bit too close together.
Approximate cost: $40
Great food and reasonably priced.
This is the only take away in West Port Augusta and it is the only one near the caravan parks so the location is convenient.
There is a great choice on the menu, lost of variation.
The chickens are well cooked and the sides are delicious.
We put in a phone order and it was ready when we turned up 10 minutes later.
Approximate cost: $12
The displays here are great.
We spent 2 hours going through and could have spent more.
The displays make excellent use of multi media. They cover ancient geology, fauna, aboriginal culture, explorers of the interior and settlers of the interior.
Well put together
Approximate cost: $18
Terribly overpriced but there is very little opposition (if any).
The location is nice - right on the foreshore - but they are mudflats basically.
The amenities are ok but nothing special.
There is a well equipped camp kitchen with an oven and 2 sets of hotplates as well as the usual.
Approximate cost: $39
A nice park right on the waterfront.
The sites closest to the beach are a little cheaper as they don't have a slab. Most sites have a slab and grass.
The amenities are clean and nicely set out.
There is a barbeque area, but no camp kitchen.
On Sunday mornings they have a pancake breakfast - as much as you want for $3 - at 8am. They have other things at other times as well.
Approximate cost: $27
A lovely coastal park right on the water.
The park is quite big and a couple of kilometers from the bustle of Port Lincoln.
There is an exceptional camp kitchen with everything, including oven ad hotplates.
There is also a large TV in there and plenty of seating. There are four barbeques!
There are three amenities blocks, older ones at each end and a new one in the middle. They are all good but the showers are a touch bigger in the new block.
There is a walking trail through the water side of the park and a jetty to fish off.
There is a small kiosk as well.
Approximate cost: $30
