I came across Mandy of Bento Mama at her stall at Caloundra Markets last weekend. Mandy stocks all you need to get started with creating Bento lunches for your children. I'm looking forward to seeing Mandy's new stock as it arrives. Mandy's prices are very reasonable and she's willing to try to source any extra Bento needs you may desire. I'm so glad I've found Bento Mama. Since following Bento Mama on facebook I've seen occasional free post days - bonus!

I visited this market yesterday with my 3 children, 2 of which were in a double pram. I found the market VERY easy to negotiate with the pram. Much better than most markets. There's a reasonable amount of shade through the market which is great for when you need to stand for a bit. Local businesses are also open which is great for a Sunday! I'll definitely be visiting these markets again with the kids.

Baskin Robins at Coolum are very friendly & it's a great place to take the kids for an icecream. When you sign up online you get a buy one get one free voucher which is a great incentive. There's a good range of flavours & the prices are comparable as far as icecream parlours go.

Raw Energy at Coolum is such a child friendly place & the staff are very accomodating I often meet other Mums there with the kids, it can be challenge finding somewhere happy to have children that don't always want to sit still. Most local Mums that I meet suggest to meet here. There's a covered area to sit if it's hot outside or raining. It's nice & close to the beach & the park for a healthy drink on those hot summer days.

The Caf is such a busy little place that bubbles with locals & tourists alike. Service is always quiet quick for such a busy place. Their coffee is great & they also sell the VOSS water in glass bottles which has been hard to find elsewhere.

Full of funky designer streetwear. Staff are always friendly & helpfull. We often shop here for the whole family. You can also take a pram into this store which is a must for us.

Whenever we go to the Plaza we always pop in for a coffee & treat at GJ's. Love their customer service there, just wish they offered eftpos or credit card facilities.
