I really cannot stress how happy I am that I had all my family's old videos converted to DVD. Going through my grandparents' study, I found a bunch of mini DVs from the 90's. It was a bit of an effort to go through them all as I was watching on an old video camera – I didn't have the cables to connect it to a TV. But there was some priceless footage in there including a 15 minute video of my younger brother reciting an old Aladdin book completely by heart and my cousins' birthday party with all us kids super excited. I decided to convert them all over and Cineclair Productions didn't miss a beat, the sound quality in particular is really clear. While it took an effort on my part to organise everything, it's really worth doing with your local film to dvd service provider.
