So, I call up and ask for a blue slip quote for my motorcycle, $35 says the nice lady. A week later, I drop in and the friendly mechanic checks bike, sticks it on the weighbridge for 2 mins, fills out some paperwork and says I'm good to go. Runs my card through his eftpos machine and hands me my blue slip which says I've paid $35.90. I get home, check eftpos receipt to find I've been charged $74.90! I return to Beach Wheels and am told to "come back". I return Monday morning and the now less friendly lady wont even look at me and the friendly mechanic tells me the extra $35 or so I was charged was for the 2 mins on the weighbridge, never mind that it was at no point mentioned as an additional charge.
