This review is for Airport Undercover Security Parking, Cambridge TAS

I parked my motorbike with these guys for a few days. It worked out way cheaper to do this, and for them to take me to the airport and collect me, than it would have to catch a taxi.

The online booking system worked smoothly and I felt relaxed that my bike was going to be looked after and that I was going to get to the airport on time.

The bus driver was very cheery for that time of the morning, which was a great start to the day.

This shop is a treasure-trove for book lovers. Apart from the gorgeous fitout of the shop, there are books on every conceivable subject. Don't miss the little room out the back where there are even MORE books. You can nick next door to the State Cinema to buy a coffee or wine while you take a break from browsing, then go back in and luxuriate in beautiful books. This is a stunning example of a local business thinking bigger.

This funky little cafe just off the busy North Hobart strip has huge windows, friendly staff and terrific coffee and food. It's child-friendly and a fab place to meet a friend for a catch-up, coffee, cake or lunch. I just had the best decaf latte and toasted turkish bread with bocconcini and tomato.

Every time I go here the friendly staff make eye contact and say hello when I arrive. Because the food is cooked on site the cafe always smells delicious. Service is prompt. There is clean and comfy seating inside and out and they have the most amazing pastries and cakes and pies. I also love the coffee here. This cafe is one of New Town's best kept secrets.

This review is for The Hobart Stocking Shop, Hobart TAS

My last four visits to this shop have been extremely disappointing. The service is non-existent. I feel as though the salesladies look you over as you walk in and decide if they think you're worth serving. Each time I've gone there - I wanted to buy something specific and was prepared to spend - I've browsed, tried to make eye contact, then left with my money still in my purse because I was so annoyed. The one time I was approached by a saleslady she was indifferent and, after I asked a couple of questions, she wandered off. Before this shop changed locations the service was far better, I'm not sure if that's because the owner or staff changed. Their stock is interesting and well presented, however I'm not willing to go there again.

This review is for Boss Hair, Battery Point TAS

Steve gave me the best hair cut ever. He gave an honest opinion about what would suit me, patiently looked at pictures I brought and explained which ones would be good. Funky salon. I've received lots of compliments about my hair. Highly recommended.
