Great place, full of history. Neat little cottage with 2 bedrooms, 1 queen bed in one room and 2 singles in the other. Small family room with TV and fireplace, study with desk and rocking chair, bathroom and kitchen. Very picturesque and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. BBQ outside and tennis courts. Owners very friendly, service excellent, they even drove us to the airport. The only thing lacking was a sink in the kitchen, but we were told to leave the dirty dishes on the table and they washed them the next day. Very nice stay. Highly recommended. Very affordable too.

I went to the ball and chain over the holidays. I don't eat red meats so I can't comment on the steaks, however my friends thought theirs were pretty good. I order the trout but they were out of it, so they brought me some other roasted fish which was average, however the best was the all you can eat salad bar, specially the curried chick peas. Most delicious chick peas I've ever eaten.

I have driven past many times and I always wanted to go because it seems to be very busy and have a great atmosphere. Well, it was my husband's birthday, so I booked for dinner. The atmosphere was indeed great, however me and my daughter ordered the roasted duck and it was terrible, almost burt and hard. My husband ordered a vegetarian pasta dish which was quite good and our entrees were also excellent, unfortunately the duck was almost inedible. It may have been just a bad day or they had trouble with that particular dish. I should go and try again.

I had afternoon tea with a friend and I found it to be quite cozy with a great ambience. The window display of cakes and pastries is amazing however the flavour was slightly lacking. A bit pricey too.

I went for waxing and they asked me if I wanted to have sugaring instead. I tried it and am hooked. It's similar to waxing but all natural and doesn't hurt as much. I also noticed am getting less ingrown. Highly recommended.
