For: a simple kitchen tap to be replaced and a filter to be replaced in another tap ( which took 5 minutes )
UNFORTUNATELY i didn't check the cost of a tap in a retail outlet first. They charged $221.00 for what looks like the $45.00 tap in Mitre 10. and did not show me the tap or discuss price before installing.The plumber was there for 3/4 of and hour , he could easily have finished in 1/2 an hour if he had not talked so much , He said they have to charge for an hour ( $178.00 )PLUS the call out of $39.00... plus $41.65 GST ......A TOTAL RIP OFF.
