Errol's services are good enough to have a competitor try trading in on his business with a similar name. Insist on THE Rug Man! Errol will spend time speaking to you about the value of various technologies for cleaning rugs/ carpets/ upholstery if you are interested. He is up to date on effective, 'green & clean' techniques that are superior to the old nasty chemical or wet steam options. But the biggest advantage is his longevity in the industry so he knows what works and his patience to repeat treatments over time to truly lift a stain instead of a 'once off blast' that can damage or permanently stain.

Errol was recommended by a fire restoration service after a house fire as a specialist. The job was to attempt removal of soot, grime and water stains. following an insurance restoration on a lounge suite & rugs.

Two conventional cleanings from various operators (at least one was steam then an acid wash) did not remove stains.
I was told not to bother with Errol's method of specialised cleaning by one operator who tried this method but it didn't work. Errol assured me it would work with a tweak to the solution, a different technique and patience over several applications. Errol was kind enough to return three times to apply and brush the upholstery without extra charge!
After the third application the stains lifted and it came up like new! So appreciative as I couldn't afford to replace the lounge.

Errol also successfully removed remaining soot stains from a light coloured sueded lounge that had been "restored" by another operator. So much dirt removed! Looks great now.

Errol also cleaned a number of expensive rugs that had been salvaged from the fire. Unfortunately the original restoration had removed too much colour and it couldn't be improved upon. Errol explained the correct cleaning and racking procedures to ensure the rugs wouldn't shrink or stretch.

Really an impressive operator and lovely person that I have confidence in recommending. Affordable and clean. Also cleans carpets and very delicate fabrics without steam.

Definitely my company of choice from now on!
