My Wife Booked her CX3 into Melville Mazda for a service and arrived at 9:15 for her booked appointment. She then asked one of the sales staff about the new CX30 and as we had discussed buying a new car, she went out for a drive and liked the vehicle. When she and the sales rep returned to the yard she asked about trade in for the CX3. She was offered $12,000 for a 6 yo car as trade on a $35,000 CX30. We wanted a Black one and there was one available at Melville.
She then went shopping for a few hours and returned at 1:45 to pick her car up at 2pm. It was in the same space as when she left 3 hours before. She asked when it would be serviced and was told it would be 45 minute to 1 hour. This was for a quoted $500 service. She enquired why a $500 service would take only 45 minutes and was not given an answer. At 2:30 my wife looked outside and the car was still in the same spot.
She asked for the keys and left.
Rockingham Mazda was able to book the service next day. She arrived at 9am and they took it straight in. The sales person took her for a drive in the new CX30.
She asked about trade in and was offered $17,000. The new car was $37,000. My wife went out with a friend for lunch and returned at 1:30 to pick up her car. She was surprised that the service was only $300 and the car was ready to go !!!
The next day we went to sign up for the CX30, we wanted a black one and Rockingham Mazda said that Melville Mazda had one in stock. They might let us have it !!!!!. Next day Rockingham Mazda had to tell us that Melville Mazda wouldn't let them have the black CX30. They new it was us that wanted it. We would have to wait 6 weeks for OUR new CX30 to arrive.
We bought that car,,,go suck eggs Melville Mazda.
