Contacted Water Tight Canberra after drains in my home backed up and wastewater overflowed across floors in a couple of rooms. Initially visited by Tom and Ben who used a high pressure drain cleaner in conjunction with a CCTV camera which located a crushed PVC sewer pipe causing the blocked drains. Tom also identified there was no accessible overflow relief gully (ORG) and an attempt to locate it at the next visit would be made as part of the continuing drain assessment. The following week Bodie and Jess arrived early at my property to carry out the excavation and extraction of the crushed pipe and lay new pipework. I was kept informed of every step of the process and once unearthed shown the crushed pipe which had originally been laid incorrectly on brick. Special mention to go to Bodie for his additional work installing taps in two rooms and single-handedly for much of the day waist deep digging out a trench and replacing old pipes for new. He was hardworking, honest and courteous and still here in the evening sweeping my deck and hosing it down in the dark. He also located the ORG covered by low-lying deck and provided a quote for a plumber/carpenter to cut out a section of deck to make it accessible again. Brayden from Water Tight arrived a week later and created a trapdoor over the ORG with a cut out finger hold to lift it up. The trapdoor was perfect for purpose and seemed to be created effortlessly and quickly. All round an excellent and professional service by everyone on this job from Water Tight Canberra.

This week I had shutters installed on 9 windows in my house. I initially visited the showroom in Fyshwick for advice and John was very helpful. I then received great advice onsite by Craig for the onsite measure, followed by a clear quote. The day of the installation Maurice turned up on time with all the customised shutters for the lounge, dining area, bedrooms and side glass windows on either side of my front door. He worked solidly for 5 hours moving from room to room and basically transformed the place. He was very professional, friendly, answered all my queries about maintenance of the shutters and did an excellent job in the installation. I was even supplied with a small bottle of touch up paint if I needed that down the track for a minor scratch. The end result is that the interior of the house looks more contemporary, there is more privacy, the rooms feel larger and the insulation is a lot better than was provided by my old vertical blinds and curtains. I am also now able to angle the light into the room so that I no longer need to have lights on during the day for certain areas of the house. Each individual shutter panel divided into three separate sections means I can also choose to have different sections open with views to the garden, others closed for privacy and can also alter the configuration for air flow. The whole process with Regency Knights was very professional, so would not hesitate in using them again for any future projects.
