What can I say, I'm an 18 year old and this place made me feel like a kid again, it also made me a bit depressed about growing up. I went there with my younger cousins and I was too busy doing frontflips off the swings to keep an eye on them. We all had fun, the canteen cafe thingy was a bit expensive so we ended up grabbing KFC from Shepparton and came back. The huge playground is still in great condition and huge fun to play on. I would recommend this to my more childish friends.

I wouldn't say that it's terrible, but the meat isn't exactly the best and the prices are actually higher than a decent butcher. The service is great though, with the staff serving you very quickly and helpfully, but unless you don't want to drive to other towns, I find it hard to recommend this butcher.

Hogan's in Wallan is well set out, has great food and it's right across the road from Wallan's shopping centre, the playground will keep bored kids entertained while you're socialising, and you can keep an eye on them through the windows. The prices for food is a bit expensive though, but the food's better than a lot of stuff from around the area, except for Rattler's in Wallan East; if you're up for a change though, and you have kids, go to Hogan's.

I will tell you right now, this is the BEST Chinese restaurant in the Mitchell Shire! I went there one day with the family and had Peking Duck, it was brilliant, the marinade perfectly suited the duck and it was nice and tender. The staff were friendly and it was a pleasure talking to them. The food was at a great price and the meals filled me up nicely, it was a great lunch and I will recommend it to my mates.

Cliftons On High is an upper class cafe in the small town of Broadford, I must say, the food's quality is amazing and the staff are very friendly. The prices are a bit high, but that's what you would expect for the quality of the food. Cliftons is generally a busy cafe but the staff do their best to make sure that everyone gets the best service possible. I would definitely recommend this to a rich friend to impress him/her ;)

My experience at the so-called "Ming's" last week wasn't the best one, I walked in and ordered my pricey meal, it took 20 minutes to be ready, they didn't even warn me that it was going to take that long, if they did, I would've taken a walk in the park. After receiving my meal, and being charged for tomato sauce (what a joke) I sat down to my meal, the chips were oily and very salty, even after being topped off with tomato sauce. My wrap that I ordered was okay, but nothing great. The meal was expensive and the quality wasn't very good at all. I still have no idea why all of the waggers from school eat here. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

This would definitely be one of the best places to buy lunch in Kilmore. I usually get a 1/4 chicken and chips with gravy from there and I love it. The staff are very friendly and know how to cook a good chicken. Value-wise, they are pretty good, not the best but they're good value meals. The chicken's never dry, the chips are never oily and the gravy is brilliant. This is a great takeaway shop and I would definitely recommend.

Broadford Timber and Hardware is just your average small business, their prices aren't great, but their quality and staff are excellent. They only have a handfull of people running it, but it has been a great business in Broadford since before I was born. There's heaps of items and a lot of it is great quality too. Mitre10 or Bunnings is better, but this is a local small business and I support it!

Just wow, I went down to Wallan yesterday and I spotted this fish and chip shop, so I went there for lunch. The staff were really friendly and greeted you with a smile. The food was great, I had fish and chips with a couple of potato cakes. The chips weren't too oily and there was the perfect amount of salt, the potato cakes were also well done and the fish was absolutely brilliant, probably the best fast food I've had from the Mitchell Shire. Will definitely recommend to a friend.

The doctors there are great, they definitely know what they are talking about and will give that good advice to you right away. There is often a long wait in the waiting rooms though, at least 30 minutes usually. The value is really good, this medical center is easy on the wallet. Very happy to have this place available locally, just put a couple of games on your phone before you go.
