Broadford Secondary College is by far the best public secondary college in the area. Most of the teachers are caring and want to make the child/adolescent's education as good as possible. The school itself is quite large, there are many classrooms, a football oval, a basketball court, tennis courts and they even make use of the nearby stadium. The school goes from year 7-12 and many of the students are quite high achievers. There are a lot of children who don't really care about their schooling, though this is mainly in the lower year levels and the kids get more mature by their senior years or leave. Quite a good school and a lower cost alternative to the private schools around the area.

A great servo and definitely competes well with Coles and Woolworths petrol that have all but destroyed the petrol market. Competitive prices, good stuff for sale in store.

Not necessarily the cleanest railway station, and there can be quite a few troublemakers, but there are public service officers constantly at the station, the staff are okay, but a smile every now and then would be a plus. There are vending machines and a few fast food stores right near the station, there is also a major shopping center right across the road. Overall it's an okay station that's just happened to be positioned perfectly.

A nice clean pool accompanied by a suitable gym. The pool or the gym doesn't get overcrowded which is nice. It's open until 10PM on Monday-Thursday so it's good for night sessions after work.

I'm really proud of their recycling service to try and help the environment, they take your PC parts and either recycle them or sell them as scrap metal.

Some great quality sporting goods in this store, friendly staff and competitive prices as it is across all Rebel stores. I have brought a mouth guard from here and one of the staff helped me find the perfect one.

Best KFC in the area and one of the best that I've ever had, I will definitely go back, they never miss a beat and the food is actually quite brilliant.

A great kebab shop and great for a feed before a long train trip. Good food, nice staff and good prices. On the downside, some of the sauces used taste a little bit off on their own but it's not noticeable with the other food.

This card is actually quite a good idea, it only let's you spend what you load onto it and it's re-loadable. You can use it online and it's completely your own money, it's great, what more is there to say.

The Broadford Railway Station is a fair quality station. It has drinks and newspapers available where you buy your tickets. The station itself isn't perfectly clean, but it's better than most stations, especially better than suburban stations. The station is right across the road from the pub, so it's easy to get a feed when arriving at Broadford, but it's a bit of a walk to other facilities, like a supermarket and various fast food and bakery's.
