Very nice space and environment but had rather bad impressions about the staffs. I was watching my son behind the door of toddlers room, one of the kids looked like he's falling asleep, then one staff kept yelling 'don't let him sleep, wake him up!' I was shocked!
Some are caring but most staffs I find working there are quite fierce towards the kids. Burnout or their characters? I'm not sure. What I certainly sure about is that my son didn't enjoy going to this centre. Every time I dropped him off, he held me so tight that he was so scared. This didn't happen at all as soon as we changed him to the one in South Perth.

Love this childcare so much! My son is one of those Observants and takes forever to settle into childcare. We tried 3 centres before with no good outcomes, only this one. He has been there for 3 years now, very happy to go to centre and home every time.
Staff turnover is very low, most of them are still there after 3 years. Very lovely and experienced staffs. Very long waiting list though eg 100 families for baby room, this explains how good it is!!
Approximate cost: $100
Have good space for kids but staffs are burning out, as a result, inadequate care provided as well as high staff turnover.
One day when I went to pick up my 6mo, I was heartbroken seeing him crying in jumping jolly, the only staff left was washing the toys. He was sweating, must have been a while. Every time he came back from this centre, he just slept until the next day which doesn't happen at the other centre. Leaving now!
Approximate cost: $100
That's soo odd doesn't sound like Dalkeith early learning my two children love going to Dalkeith early learning soo excited to see the staff when they walk in and always saying their names around the house. I'm glad your happy where you are as it's important.
I agree to what you say. Here is my experience:
I found this day care very unprofessional, fake and just good at showing off. As it was rated excellence, I chose this centre and the manager assured us that they are very good at settling a child and it takes time and they are well staffed to take care of the child. They didn't give any orientations and ask us to leave the child to them from the very first day.
I had 3 weeks left before returning to work so took this remaining 3 weeks to drop him off and hang around there and pick him up after 2-3-4 hours, increasing gradually. The educators and the manager herself told me that he was doing well and he didn't cry the whole day. The only thing was he refused to eat. But I had heard from different people that these were all settling phases. After 3 weeks (the last day), the manager tells me that she can no longer keep my child because he was not settling well.
Now I need to go back to work and am left with no options. So my suggestion is if you think your child might not settle well in 3 weeks of time (that is the deadline from the manager of this centre), think twice before choosing this centre or you might be in the same situation as I am now.
