We've been using this store for the 6 years since moving here. As inexperienced landowners, dealing with livestock and construction, we have found Blackbutt Hardware happy to share their knowledge and give us all the advice we have needed over this time. They are a local store that trusts you, just like the olden days, and that feels good. Nothing wrong with their value either, we tried to price match them, and gave up quickly, they are often cheaper than the large hardware stores.

Had to call these guys out on a weekend, they gave us advice over the phone and then were on location within 2 hours to help our goat that was struggling to give birth. It turned out to be a tricky operation, but was done in a professional manner, and was a pain free success for the animal. No vet is going to be cheap on a weekend, so it comes down to service, and we got that with a smile.

This is the closest you will get to a city pub in the country. It has everything including a late night club venue, which is unique for this area. Huge cosy beer garden, big TAB, pool tables, great food and cosmopolitan staff. The best bit is that they have craft beers on tap, sometimes 4 or 5 at a time. This is as rare as hens teeth in these parts, so go lap some up.

This is a small yet jam packed with good stuff music store where you will find yourself taking baby steps just to take everything in. They stock pretty much everything possible from strings to the latest wam bam effects boxes, drums, amps and every accessory known to a musician. The service is the best, there is no snobbery, and they treat everyone with respect and give great advice, which is exactly what you want from a music shop. Prices are fair, and special bargains are always on the go. Check this place out before you buy elsewhere and be surprised.

Great spacious and friendly pub with the best entertainment possible in these parts. Pinball machine, video machines, 2 new pool tables and a free sunday jam music session every 2nd Sunday of the month which is a must see of the best talent around, or come and play yourself. Just needs some craft beer and this place would be 5 stars.

For the best chips in South Burnett, these are not your typical frozen french fry, and are the closest you will get to proper english chips around here. The cafe/take away also has a great selection of complementary food with large battered fish, crumbed sausage, crab sticks, scallops etc etc. Wait times are pretty much non existent as the counter is continually kept topped up. Busy Bee is the place to munch out.

These guys take the guesswork out of having to trust a mechanic. They are relaxed and casual, and that comes from the confidence they have in dealing with vehicles. Straight forward advice and fair pricing.

Went for a fish and chip treat, dreaming of cod or flake, but not expecting to find them on the menu. They had both! Great battered cod it was, delivered with fast and friendly service. Superb result, and I will go back for sure. Loses one star because they are not real chips, but expecting real chips from a chip shop - well that really is dreaming!

Geoff is the first person I go to for landscaping advice and materials. His customer service is second to none, always fast delivery, good prices, and he always goes that extra mile to make sure the job gets done.

Wonderful colourful selection of toys and games with great local customer service. Can always find something I want from here, and prices are good.
