On Wednesday night three of us went to Con's for dinner. Two of us had three courses and were very impressed with the size of the serves, the presentation and the service. We had a very delicious meal and were well satisfied when we
left. The meal cost $202 for the three of us which we thought was very reasonable considering that we had one glass of wine, 2 Budweiser beers, 2 cokes and a pot of tea included.

6 of us had an evening meal on a Friday night. 5 ordered entrees (which were satisfactory) but before they had finished their entree, their main course was delivered, the waitress asking "Are you finished?" While we were eating our main course, the outside lights were turned off and the chairs at empty tables were stacked on the tables around us.
We ordered desserts and coffee and while still eating, it was obvious that the waitress was anxious for us to leave. We asked what time they closed and she replied "We're closed!" We said "It looks as though you would like us to leave" and the waitress said "Pretty much so we can clean up and go home." It was 10.00pm so we finished up and left. Outside on their window their hours state that they close at 10.30pm. We were not impressed and will not go there again.

I have eaten here on a number of occasions, mostly for lunch. The $13.90 special is good value, main, bread and a glass of wine or soft drink. Santa Lucia's staff is pleasant and the service is good.

The two proprietors are very helpful and obliging. I am a widow and a pensioner and I can rely on them to take care of my car and check it for me whenever I am worried about something. They are very friendly fellows and I can discuss a problem with them without being made to feel stupid! I know my car is in good hands. On a couple of occasions I have asked for something to be checked which they have done and not charged me.

I have been to Lemongrass in Woden a number of times but find it very cold and noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. Service and food is good and staff is friendly.
