I'd have to agree with the previous rater - a great little family run take away place. Their chips taste fantastic - so fresh. The shop is incredibly clean - a pleasant place to shop and nice to support a local business.

The Aviator Lounge is a beautiful restaurant. It is furnished with timber tables and chairs, little tealight candles. The food is fantastic. They serve food like steak, pasta, fish, chicken. Mains are about $25. The service is fantastic. Make sure you book though as they get really busy.

We have had numerous lots of vertical blinds from Kim's Blinds. Kim, the gentleman that owns the business does all the quoting and installs himself and their quality is fantastic. I would choose Kim's Blinds without a doubt when needing blinds in the future.

McKeon's swim school is a great place for kids to learn to swim. We have both of our kids learning to swim there and the teachers are fantastic - they really care about the kids, they make it fun, but teach them heaps. The re-enrolment process is a bit of a nightmare (kind of a get your money first, and then we'll change the lessons later). As per a previous comment, finding makeup lessons the staff are not always super helpful (they are very busy though).

A lovely family-run business - they offer a convenient service for fish and chips, BBQ chickens and other typical take away food. They are so friendly - their service is lovely and the food is good too.

We semi-regularly get Chinese take-away from Sun Lee in Unanderra. They are a great family-run take away place, the meal is ready 10-15 minutes after ringing up, it takes delicious, and is good value for money. We find the meals to be of a very generous size for take-away.

Our whole family recently had our eyes tested with Malinda Halley at Yours Eyes Optical. She was very thorough, great at explaining what she was doing and why, and the basic service is bulk billed.

I recently discovered the small business called Paperlock at Fairy Meadow. I've had photographs laminated and mounted on wood and they look fantastic. A great alternative to a traditional frame (although they do a great job of those too).

We have had Mant Glass provide toughened glass for an internal balcony rail, toughened glass for low windows (for children's safety) and a sliding door. All have been installed beautifully and been of a very high quality.

Adam and Eve is a great hair salon for kids and adults to have their hair styles. Our whole family goes there and have found the hairdressors to be lovely. They cut your hair well and are very friendly. They do nice formal hair styles too.
