I recently laybyed a bike for my son's birthday and they were very helpful with choosing the most suitable bike for him. They had long lay by terms and were more than happy for me to leave the bike with them until the big day after I had paid it off.
I recently lay-byed a guitar case and some guitar stands for my son's birthday (having bought two guitar stands from another shop that quickly broke and they wouldn't exchange them) the stands are much better quality and were cheaper than anywhere else as was the guitar case.
I asked if they had a copy of the Saturday Age as I had seen a book reviewed there but couldn't remember what it was called or who it was by. While I was chatting to the girl Joe popped out and came back having bought the Saturday Age (this was on a Monday) so that I could find the book! They then chased it down and ordered it for me.
Dropped in for a take away lunch as I was starving. Got a chicken burger with lots of extras, fast service, great burger, newspapers to read while I was waiting but quite pricey.
Approximate cost: $14
I visited recently to make a complaint and was fobbed off quite rudely but I saw a necklace I liked and went back later to get it and then they couldn't do enough for me! The necklace was reasonably priced and I have received many compliments on it as it is quite unusual. It's just a shame they only treated me nicely when there was something in it for them.
New owners very friendly, staff good, coffee good - as always - and I like the new system where you give your name when ordering. Store seems to be cleaner than before as well and I like that they are supporting a local charity Zaidee's Rainbow Foundation.
