Kat1 from Camberwell was not very pleased with Borders, but I must say that on my recent visit there I was greatly impressed by the absolute helpfulness of a young lady staff member. I was hoping to find a literary criticism book by an author whose novel I had found on the shelves, and when I showed the title of the book that I was after the staff member checked the computer and made two different telephone call and finally told me that the book had been published in 1998, not reprinted and was now unavailable. I have since found, too that even Amazon has none in stock. I was most grateful for her help and bought the novel anyway.

The best selling point is that all patients are bulk-billed for medical consulatations. Many other services are available too, at reasonable cost, including podiatry, hydrotherapy, natural therapies, men's and women's support programs. Appointments are meaningful, too; the doctor calls you into his room within a few minutes of your appointed time.

More a wholesaler than a retailer, the Front Office staff nevertheless provide a wonderful retail shopping experience. Ocanic supplies a wide variety of seafoods and groceries at competitive prices and the staff are most helpful, even recommending the less expensive Norwegian Atlantic rather than Australian smoked salmon.

Not only a wonderful selection of flowers, but even Christmas trees and a fantastic delivery service, including Christmas trees within the eastern suburbs. The staff are particularly helpful to first-time customers. I was simply driving past and noticed their board outside advertising Christmas trees and deliveries.

Not only do they offer a range of computer packages, they will rearrange any package to suit. Their after-sales service is outstanding, even after the closure of a warranty period. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

Their photpgraph processing service is first class; they have, too, a wide range of picture frames and films for sale. Digital processing is also available. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Having visited this pharmacy once at the request of my father, I found it the worst I have seen. They order only from Sigma, so what Sigma does not supply they cannot provide. The worst problem, having been served, is to find the cash register which is located mysteriously in the middle of the shop.

My most frequent use of this pharmacy is for prescriptions, though there is also a wide variety of medicinal and perfumery products available to suit all tastes. The staff are always very helpful and prices are fair.
