There is a big price range, however most of the items are on the expensive side. There are some really good bargains though. The service is fantastic, in both the stores in Lakeside and Kingsway. There are a good range of sizes, and they don't focus on the small sizes.
It is the best place to go if it is later on at night and you remember you need to get a prescription filled. Being open 24 hours is extremely convenient. The prescriptions sometimes take a while, but there are enough things to look at while you wait. However, I find the security guards tend to keep an eagle eye on you, which is good to prevent theft, but they mostly stare at you like you are doing something wrong and suspicious and it tends to annoy me. However, they only tend to do it if you're looking at sunglasses, makeup or perfume/aftershave.
It's a good place to go for dinner. There is a good atmosphere, though sometimes too many children. The selection of food is good, though I usually go for the wood-fired pizza. There is usually some form of entertainment- the tv will be on or there will be a singer or similar.
A few of us went there for lunch, and it was decent. The service was really good. The food was nice, and the price was average. There was a really good selection of food to choose from, however there wasn't much by way of desserts. The drink selection was good, and included 31 flavours of milkshake. There is also a nice view of the ocean from the tables closest to it.
It is a fantastic place to go after a morning or afternoon walk along the beach! The flies sometimes got a bit much. There were really nice smoothies. The food was good, and the view of the ocean is great.
Really good for buying things cheap. I have bought a few shelves for really good prices- although I have had to put them together myself, but it's not that hard. The service isn't great, and sometimes there is a long wait for the checkout. There is a good variety of everyday items for low prices.
I usually go in for music magazines. They stock ones from the US and UK that are hard to find here. The selection of records is really good, but a little bit expensive. There is a wide variety of CDs at decent prices. They also sell tickets, which is convenient. They also give away free bumper stickers, which is always a good novelty.
I go there every time I want to find any more alternative CDs. There's a good selection of memorabilia from assorted bands. There is also a section for local bands. The record collection is handy for getting presents for people. There are also some indie films that are hard to find elsewhere. And they're open until midnight.
It's a great place to go and browse for books. Being on a popular street is very convenient. They are open late (I think until 11pm), which is helpful for me because it means I don't have to rush out after work.
The prices were a bit expensive, however the drinks prices were good. The service was great, as the people were attentive, even though it was a bit busy. There was a good selection to choose from, and it was really nice.
