CPL was a decent store about 20 years ago. It has unfortunately become very unseemly and dishonest in its dealings with customers. Long ago, it was a superior chain to MSY ... but how things have changed. CPL's prices are very high relative to other Asian computer hardware sellers and their service and integrity scores a zero. Avoid.
Approximate cost: $100
Failure to show up for job. Failure to respond to phone calls.
Had to chase up. Very unreliable.
A very good pizza place with a Menu very similar to Crust. The thing I particularly like about this pizzeria is that it always seems to be manned by the Owner who pays particular attention to cleanliness and care when making the pizzas and has a very good approach to customer service – something that is sorely lacking in many franchise style pizzerias.
Polite Service, Attention to detail, they make good pizza. I assess a pizzeria only after having ordered pizza on at least 5 different occasions to gauge consistency. Capers in Wattletree Road Malvern, while not being the absolute best, is consistently good.
The chips were acceptable but definitely not of the standard one would expect from a Franchise which touts its specialty as being chips. The additional sauces are again only "OK" and are overpriced for what they are eg. $1.75 extra for a "Deluxe" sauce.
When you ring Weatherwold you get the feeling that you have called a used car yard. You receive the "give me your name, address & phone number and I'll look after you mate" nod nod, wink wink approach. I thought tactics such as these died out in the 80's.
Three of my colleagues rang subsequently on separate occasions and all got the exact same response. Read between the lines ... in other words ... "we hide our pricing and will only discuss price once we get inside your house".
Approximate cost: $3000
