From the very 1st inquiry phone call to the minute we left, I can only describe the service ~ 'Country Homely' in the city.
An older Motor Inn, though fresh and totally clean.
Have stayed in some up-market places, the beds and pillows in our room were just the best. As commented by other guests that we met as well.
A few min drive to Jupiter's Casino, Entertainment Centre and Pacific Fair Shopping Town. Even though its on the main highway, there was little to no road noise in our room.
Has its own spa n pool or is about 300mts to the beach. Once you park the car undercover, that is where it can stay :-)

Gavin was recommended to me by a friend. He did 3 bedrooms, hall and lounge for me, as well as a 5 seater lounge. Nothing to say but 'WOW ~ A perfect job'.

Had this company do my home carpets and 2 complete lounge suites. Was not happy with the final outcome of it all, the carpets looked clean on the top but not deep down.

Had new fans installed, power points replaced, safety switch installed, power box updated and made safe. They came several times to disconnect and reconnect as different renovations progressed.

We were heading to Airlie for a wedding, we booked a 5dy special online, also an extra 2dys to make up the week. Upon our arrival we were pleasantly greeted n shown our unit (a lot of walking) and we were close to reception. If you dont have transport and are not up to walking steep hills and steps, find somewhere else.

Before arriving we had shopped for food items to take with us to the resort.

Upon entering our unit, the kitchenette had dangerous amounts of water on the floor, this was cleaned up by the resort and another fridge was promised. Never saw them again with regards to this issue. All frozen foods was dumped.

The unit was tidy, though not everything was clean - it could of done with a good dusting. It was fitted with everything you required to be self contained. Linen in excellent condition and replaced after 4dys, the bed was surprising comfortable.
Plenty of storage for everything and room for guests to visit.

View was fantastic after you glided your eyes past the filthy tops of the shops below.
The pool, the bar, the meals areas were all nice with fantastic views. Wifi is free but only works in the bar/pool area.
Walking distance to everything, I mean everything and you only have to worry about getting up the hill after a great night out.

Value for money in the low to medium budget range, being the first resort built at Airlie it is holding up ok. Dont think Resort = Grand, that it is not.

Yes I would stay there again :-)

Venue for Wedding and Reception - 100 ppl

Balinese Hut - beautiful set beside the water, could of done with a few more white flowing chiffon curtains. To the right of the hut, an old jetty, again set beside the water, making for incredible photos. The grounds were tidy.

Reception - Set downstairs in a semi-open area - caters to be set up from the expensive to budget with regards to chiffon and fairy lighting. Dining tables and chairs decorated and set by family. You can do as much or as little as you want, has its own dance floor, bar and plenty of room for just about anything else.

All in all a great place.

Food - Pig and Lamb spit, was arranged by the family and he brought his own lighting. Side dishes served by the club and their lighting was non-existent, making it very hard to see what was on offer.

Bar - Club supplied all drinks and 3 bar staff, 1 staff member didn't want to be there it was quite obvious. Rude and snappy to guests, didn't like me asking her to be more pleasant.

FANTASTIC SERVICE...Can not fault these guys, have used them a few times now, nothing is ever too much for them.

At the first visit your made to feel like family, this service continues today 15 months later. If I need to ring or pop in to ask a question or I have a concern...I know where my dental home is :-)

WOW, you should see the incredible gift ideas I just found. It's Art Work with an amazing twist, its too beautiful to describe and too different to draw.
I could of spent hundreds and hundreds within minutes, prices very hugely, therefor allowing everyone to purchase its beauty.

Yearly pest control...'111' we found as a special on 'Cudo'. Very friendly, to the point of the service, very speedy service and the best point very professional.
