I just moved to Hervey Bay, and know no one. My intuition told me that Havingtons would be the hairdresser for me. My mind liked the word "experienced". With receptionist Morgan's efficient and personable assistance, my body got me down to the waterfront and into the neat little shop within an hour of deciding that I couldn't stand one more minute of too much hair for the heat and humidity we've been bearing up under. I wanted my curly greying hair cut well; I have had too many experiences with folk who can't cut curly hair, no matter what they tell you! This was the best haircut I've had since leaving my beloved hairdresser in NSW; I was afraid I'd have to move back there! (I have been getting quite decent haircuts in Childers.) But Michael's cut is extraordinary: whippy and cute and short enough for swimming, yet still feminine and curly. Whoopee! I feel young and feisty again! Michael is also open and easy to talk to, which made the whole event totally pleasurable. Next time I'm having some foils done, and, now I've read the other reviews, I may even go for a pedicure!
