I took my wife, who is part Spanish for Dinner last week for her birthday. We hadn't dined here before but had been a semi-regular diners at the original Movida since it opened at the Carron Tavern in West Melbourne. We prefer the feel of the Hosier Lane Tapas Bar than this one. The food was OK but nothing special. The prices were way too high for what was on offer especially when you compare it to a Tapas Bar in Spain. I think it must be high because of the high number of staff they have working there. There was one major disappointment and that was the Spanish wine I was served. At $14 a glass it was awful. It had oxidised. I have never had to send back a glass of wine before this evening. Thankfully, the waitress replaced it with wine from a newly opened bottle. It wasn't that much better. Dear Frank Camorra, please review your wine list. It maybe extensive but you shouldn't have wine this bad on your list, especially at the prices you charge. The best thing about the evening was the service. Finally, if you want good Spanish food in a place that has atmosphere, go to Movida in Hosier Lane not Movida Aqui. Leave this place to the suits who work in the area.

Maria and Nick provided the best home catering I've ever experienced. The Tapas was delicious, the Paella was as good as you'll have in Spain and the Churros were to die for! In fact they're better than the ones you get in that well know Spanish restaurant in Melbourne. The occasion was my wife's birthday and our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food. Everyone spent a bit of time marvelling at Maria making the Paella. This was a party to remember and all because of the delicious traditional Spanish food that was prepared by Maria and Nick. They were professional, had excellent support from their staff and cleaned up before they left. If there was ever a recommendation I'd make it would be to get Spanish Home Catering to do your next function. You will not be disappointed!

This review is for Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar, Mitcham VIC

I thought I'd give this so-called gourmet pizza place a go since it's the closest one to home. I ordered one that seemed to be the closest to a traditional real Italian pizza. It had prosciutto, rocket and grated parmigiano cheese. First mistake they made is the pizza crust. It was like eating a Salada cracker biscuit. Second mistake, the tomato base tasted more like Leggo's tomato paste than Italian tomato 'Passata'. Third mistake and the worst by far is to put the prosciutto on the pizza before it goes into the oven. This turns the prosciutto into a salty beef jerky! Forth mistake, putting a small amount of rocket on top of the pizza. Not generous enough. Fifth mistake, not using real mozzarella but using 'God knows what' cheese that's best suited to making a toasted cheese and ham sandwich than a pizza. Sixth mistake, using grated Parmesan (probably the cheap stuff not the original parmigiano from Italy) rather than shavings. Seventh and final mistake, the price ($21 for a large) My advice, don't waste your money on any pizza from either this franchise or any other Crust pizza. It's a poor imitation and they're over priced. You're better off travelling into town and going to a proper Italian wood fired pizza restaurant.

Really good pizzas. The bases are just right. Their other meals are good as well. It's a small place, so it be hard to get into without a booking, especially on weekends.

Approximate cost: $12-$28

I stayed here last weekend with my Wife and 3 month old baby. The Staff were very helpful and courteous. The accommodation was 'technically' a serviced apartment, but the facilities were better than expected - more like a 5 star hotel. A special thank you to the staff who looked after our needs without hesitation even after we checked out and we needed a place to change our baby. For those contemplating a weekend away, this place is great. They even have a Day Spa. As for Hobart, I was pleasantly surprised, especially the other Boutique Hotels and Restaurants they have. As for what to do, I highly recommend being there in Saturday morning for the Salamanca Market.

Approximate cost: $150 a night
