These guys make amazing pizzas! They also do fish and chips but I'm yet to try, as I'm too full from eating there pizzas when I go there! They are very friendly, and the prices are great too! :)

This is great fish and chip shop - fast friendly service, delicious food, and great prices. I highly recommend the 'chilli burger' to anyone with a love of hot food ;)

Davis's has everything you expect from a Milkbar, and very friendly staff.. You will always feel welcome, and very often you'll go in for a take away pie and end up having a 10 minute conversation with the staff while you're there :) the food is yum, other than the fact that they put salt on everything in the bein marie, which isn't all that great if you don't like salt :(

I use this pizza shop fairly regularly and I'm yet to be disappointed :) the pizzas are pretty delicious, and while the prices could be better, they aren't terrible. For a family size pizza with extras I pay $18, and it is definitely worth it!

I used to go to this takeaway every week, until they seemed to decide to quit and leave the management of the place up to a few teenagers. Every time I have been in there since, I have received the wrong order, had to wait a min. of half an hour over there estimated wait time (or the time I got there to pick up my food and they had forgotten to even cook it - equalled over an hour of me waiting for a burger and chips), or they have overcharged me. The last time I went, I ordered a burger called 'The Bomber Burger' which is pretty much a cross between an Aussie burger and a burger with the lot for $10 - I got home, opened my burger up and all it was was a beef pattie, some lettuce, and a piece of pineapple in a bun. They had charged the full $10 for the burger, and when I took it back and asked what happened, they said 'well we ran out of everything else', but instead of letting me know, and charging me accordingly, (or even apologising when I took it back), they chose to charge me full price and tell me nothing, and then were full of attitude when I returned it.
All in all, I will never return to this take away store, and I'm sure the only reason anyone else ever does is because it's the only takeaway available in Cobden.

The Oasis Cafe in Cobden is lovely - it has a great atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious! For lunch I like to get there home made sausage rolls which just melt in your mouth, and for dinner - well I used to love getting a pizza from here, but recently they have started closing at 5.30pm, which kind of ruins that idea. But, if you feel like having a pizza for lunch (or an early dinner), then I can definitely recommend the pizzas here! They are DELICIOUS! They are huge, have a LOT of toppings, and a lot of different varieties available. They aren't the cheapest pizza I've ever had at around $20 for a large, but considering the size, the taste, and just the pure awesomeness of them, that money is $20 well spent in my book :)

I've only been a member of simple savings for a few weeks now, but oh my has it made a difference to my financial situation!! I have NEVER been good with money, but for pretty much the first time in my life, my bank account hasn't been any where near empty for WEEKS! My bills are being paid on time, there's plenty of food in the cupboards, and most importantly, I'm NOT STRESSING ABOUT MONEY! And it is an amazing feeling :)
I probably could have saved myself the $47 membership fee by doing some good Internet research for all of these tips I've found, but really, that could have taken a very long time - and as a SS member I have access to the Vault which has all of these savings tips in one easy to find section, and there is also the Savings Forum which is pretty much a never ending supply of tips for saving and/or making money!

Okay, so this shop is obviously owned by a family who are trying there best. They aren't the fastest, but they're very friendly and it has the 'family atmosphere' behind the counter that so many places are missing these days. There prices are great, and the 'Nachippos' are TO DIE FOR! I highly recommend this fish and chip shop to anyone in the area :)

Every now and then I get cravings for red rooster - and for some amazing reason, I keep giving into that craving and actually going there. To be fair I've been to many red rooster stores that are alright, but the Warrnambool store is terrible! Every time I have ever been there, they've stuffed my order up! It is NEVER busy (2 customers at a time MAX), and yet it can still take up to 15mins for them to charge me full price, give half my order, and shut there window and run away so that I can't let them know they haven't given me everything! I've list count of the amount of times I've had to then park, and go in store to correct there stuff up - I go through the drive they for a reason!!

My partner and I stayed here for our anniversary in August, and oh my! We will definitely be going back!
We stayed in the separate townhouse which is named The Villa Spa Suite, it was very small, but considering it was just the 2 of us staying there, it wasn't a problem, and the atmosphere well and truly made up for it!
They also have a large house available for holiday rentals, which doesn't cost much more than our little 'Villa' did, and we are planning on going again but taking the kids next time :) definitely 5 stars for this one!!
