There isn't a topic in the vault that you can't find somehow saving money on. I remember looking for ideas on how to have a different (and cheap) children's party and straight away founds some ideas on Simple Savings. Very helpful.
A very friendly place to take my kids for their swimming lessons. While they seemed to have a high turnover of swimming teachers, each one that my sons have had have been very good at what they do. the kids love it.
the staff are always friendly and chatty and ready to help.
The friendliest butchers around who are willing to even help you decide what you want for dinner that night. Sausage King extraordinaire who has won a number of competitions. The meat is always tender and tasty and there is a wide variety to choose from.
Love shopping here as they are the friendliest people and always happy to help. Good quality fruit and vegetables.
A very trustworthy mechanic who goes the extra mile to get a good deal. Our car needed a service and new tyres. The owner made sure he rang around and got the best deal for us which we greatly appreciated as money is tight.
I like the chairs you sit in to get your hair washed and I LOVED the hair cut that the hairdresser gave me...a curly version of Posh Spice. Considering I got foils as well it was pretty good value for money.
I had my grandmother's engagement ring cleaned and valued which was done well, although a little pricey. The time taken to do this was a little over a week unfortunately as they had to send it off to Brisbane.
Approximate cost: $75.00
Donut was nice but coffee was shocking as it was tasteless and not to the standard a normal coffee would be. My child was happy with his iced donut although had a temper tantrum regarding the colour. Not the fault of Donut King, however.
Approximate cost: $5.00
