This small shop has an surprisingly large range of magazines and the service is always friendly, energetic and exceptionally helpful. The owners have run this store for well over ten years and not only do they regularly & reliably deliver my newspapers, but they act as my post office, Tatts agent and quasi bank. It's always a pleasure to shop here because they are quick, efficient and effective.

Indoor/Outdoor dining with excellent menu choice and picturesque presentation of delicious food. Seafood and steaks are the main fare. Service was generally prompt and friendly. Cost was about $40 per head for main and dessert. Drinks available from bar. Ocean view. Very pleasant.

This review is for 1770 Environmental Tours-The LARC, Seventeen Seventy QLD

We went on a day long tour in the LARC; an amphibious 4WD go anywhere boat. Built for about 30 passengers with only a dozen on board, a driver plus the tour guide, this made for a personalised tour which included sand-boarding, a lighthouse visit, and meals. The whole experience was exciting, informative and enjoyable, but probably a once-off experience.

We stayed 2 nights in the topmost unit of four units built up a very steep hill overlooking the bay. The decor is Balinese-ish with queen size bed, en suite bathroom, kitchenette, and BBQ on the veranda. Utterly magnificent ocean views! Very private and very quiet. A short walk to the beach and many nearby bush walking tracks and a fine restaurant next door. This is a delightful holiday spot.

We stayed 2 nights in a new, single bedroom, well appointed on-site cabin. It was perfect for a couple as we toured the Gladstone surrounding areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the entire caravan park was well maintained, neat and clean and has secure gates. It is a short walk to the beach and a very quiet area.

Stayed one night on a trip to Brisbane from Melbourne and barely slept at all due to close proximity to the highway traffic noise. The room windows rattled whenever a truck went past. We have stayed there before and enjoyed the restaurant food. Hoping to repeat the eating experience, we forgot about the highway noise.

This review is for Brother Jons @ Earlwood Manor, Sassafras VIC

My extended family celebrated a birthday by booking lunch at Brother Jon's. The decor is unusual and they obviously concentrate their attention to weddings and large functions and a small family lunch was not a priority for them. We were seated outside on a 35 degree day while the empty reception room had airconditioned comfort. The food was adequate but overpriced at about $25 per person.

This review is for The Sebel Hotel, Parramatta NSW

While staying at the hotel, the quick and painless eating is in the almost empty hotel dining room. Service was prompt, but inexperienced and errors made in the order (red wine served instead of white). The food (salmon steak) was perfect and well presented. The dessert (creme brulee) was divine if a little rich. The costs were about average for main city hotel restaurants; overpriced.

This review is for Liana's, Parramatta NSW

Liana's on a Thursday night provided a very good dining experience for two. The waitress was prompt, considerate and helpful without being overly attentive. The food (fillet steak) was very generous, cooked as requested and well presented. In fact the serves were so generous that we couldn't order the delicious sounding desserts after the main course. For Olive bread, drinks and main courses, $80 per double was good value. The Large street scene mural and huge fish tank are great for the atmosphere.

I have purchased a personal computer system and various other peripherals from this shop on different occasions and the service has always been excellent; good advice, promises kept, and excellent value for money and no pressure to buy.
