We asked 3 tilers for advice and a quote for some work to our bathroom. We chose Lifestyle Tilers for a few reasons:
1. They responded to our phone message promptly
2. They said they would come on a certain day and they did!(A rare thing indeed in Lennox Head NSW when the surf's up)
3. The advice that was given saved us over $200
4. The quote for the job (which became significantly less due to the expert and valuable advice) was fabulous and very much within our budget
5. They followed up to see how everything was
6. Their "tagline" on their business cards sums it all up. "Expertly laid tiling a woman's way"!!
Whilst the tiling job we thought we had to do ended up being a very small job for Emma, (the tiler) she said she could fit it in between her very big job she was doing in Lismore. We were blown away by her skill, her friendly manner and the way in which she conducted business.
We do have a more "in-depth" tiling job to be done in the future and guess who we're gonna call? Yep, Emma Lucas from Lifestyle Tiling.
Thank you Emma and see you soon!

This review is for Mi-Thai Restaurant, Lennox Head NSW

I ate here with friends who were visiting from Queensland and we were subjected to the most amazing variety of fresh, tasty and value for money food. I'm a local who orders take outs almost every week from this restaurant, this was the first time I had eaten in. The service was exceptional even though the restaurant was fully booked.
One time when I ordered take outs and received the wrong order, the owner apologised and offered to redo the order and bring it to my house personally. When I said that that was not necessary as I was okay with the meal I received, he said that when I placed my next order it would be "on the house".
If you're visiting Lennox Head and looking for the best Thai food, you'd best consider Mi Thai restaurant. You'll be glad you did.

This review is for Malibu Burgers, Ballina NSW

Mailbu Burgers was recommended to me by a friend because they offered gluten free options (burger buns) and their barramundi burgers were exceptional.
WHAT I LOVED:
I'm pleased to concur with my friend in regard to the quality, variety and taste of their burgers. They're great and better than any other burgers I have eaten in cafes/restaurants and takeaway bars.

The premises were clean and tidy with tables and stools to sit at if you chose to eat your meal there.

The newspapers/magazines available to read while you waited were current.

The people making the burgers seemed to be having fun and enjoying their work.

WHAT I DIDN'T LOVE
Front of shop customer service on my first visit was less than satisfactory.

Front of shop customer service on my second visit was better but not enough to move my score to "better than most" category.

The premium they charge for a gluten free burger bun seems excessive compared to other cafes/restaurants.

I believe these guys will lift their customer service game and the burgers are great so I totally recommend you give them a try.

This review is for The Bean Bank Coffee House, Ballina NSW

My first experience of The Bean Bank Coffee House in Ballina was calling in for a coffee "to go" at 7.30am pretty much every work day. Glenn and Effie are the consummate hosts. I say hosts because every visit seems like I'm being invited into their home.
I progressed from just a coffee to go customer to having lunch there on a regular basis. The food is fabulous. Effie serves up the best fresh and tasty delights and willingly adapts a meal to cater for people with food sensitivities such as gluten, sugar and dairy intolerance.
Glenn's love of "all things coffee" is what sets him apart from other baristas. He spends time and energy sourcing, roasting and blending only the best coffee beans and then he adds that extra special ingredient...LOVE! And it shows in every cup of coffee I have from him and his well trained, customer-focussed baristas.
If you are in Ballina and looking for a great coffee, Latte Soy Dandelion (LSD), herbal tea,or fresh, healthy treats and the friendliest customer focussed team, get yourself along to The Bean Bank Coffee House.
