Went into the Southland store with a request to replace / exchange / buy new hooks for my earrings. Was served straight away by a lovely girl (sorry, didn't get her name!). She explained that the hooks have been discontinued and offered me a FREE replacement of similar hooks that still worked for my earrings! Absolutely happy with the service and will definitely recommend the store. Thank you very much!
I was extremely unhappy and disappointed with the look and quality of the $100 flower arrangement I ordered for a very special occasion. I would never write a bad review about a local business as I live, work and shop locally and realise how hard it is out there in retail at the moment.
However, I feel that the way I was treated at the store (when I came back to discuss my purchase) was despicable. I was basically asked to leave and never shop there again. That is after I have been a loyal customer there for over ten years! What kind of customer service is that? I work in retail and have learned a very long time ago that a CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. It's time Simeon did, too.
