My Son had been using another School for quite some time. He was able to drive all our cars with confidence, however, when it came to his test he froze up. I went looking for a school that could confidently show him that he was indeed a competent driver and to restore his confidence. We found UR driving and never looked back. After 5 more lessons he passed with flying colours without any concerns at all. This all was as a result of his tutor, Robert who holds a no nonsense attitude and is able to identify issues and rectify them quickly. Would recommend without hesitation

Superb! Without equal! I have just had my Caprice V treated at home by Timeless. The car and paint was in great condition to start with but now its like I have just driven it out of the showroom. Attention to detail is unlike what you get from the "Shopping Centre"Car Washes. This car is going on a maintenance program with them from now on...I like the feeling of driving this car and the wax shine is to be seen to be believed.. $160 about 2 hours work and the leather is noticeably softer inside also...Its worth it!
Fast becoming one of those hidden jewels around Calamvale / Parkinson... Great food. Attentive service... Nice people. Cant be sure but I think it is a family business. Extensive menu and not just Italian either. Small restaurant....Suggest that you call first to not be disappointed. One of my visits I flew in from Sydney and picked up the family from home and went for dinner. Upon arriving at around 815 pm I asked what time they closed as I did not wish to rush them or us.... The owners response? We close when your finished...Enjoy! No pressure just Great Service
The one thing that is constant in life is that we all get older... It feels like 2 weeks ago my two sons were 3 years old. Now we have more cars than I can fit in my / our Garage and mine seems to be the one left outside. So it was time to look at some other form of accommodation for my NEW car. as opposed to my sons FIRST car. So off I went calling a number of companies to arrange quotes. I knew from the beginning that we were going to have a small issue in that I am on a corner block and we would need relaxation of various Council regulations. So here are all the reasons that I did not use another company
1. I found that I knew more about council regulation than some companies.
2. I knew more about footings than some companies.
3. Its a carport on a 23 deg incline..I do not want ceiling fans! Because I will not be using it for parties...Downhill ski run maybe but not parties.
4. Don't tell me you cant get a roofing colour when I know that it is made by Bluecsope just because you don't use Blue scope.
WHY DID I USE ADDITIONS
1. In a word "Steve"This is the guy that came to give me a quote. He is a builder and knows precisely what I could and could not do. Further, he politely but firmly told me that what i wanted would "suck"and proceeded to explain why. ...Good Move Steve!
2. He listened! He consulted! He answered! He spent as much time as necessary. And he got everything right on paper. Measurements, angles, heights...All perfect! ( Confirmed only when it was fully built )
Now Additions were NOT the cheapest...Far from it..They were not the most expensive either...Far from it! But they offered features and benefits of their materials and design that convinced me that this company was the way to go. They knew what I wanted to achieve. About 7m x 7m with 100mm insulated roof. To cover double driveway to the boundary built on a hill.
Now for the Builders...Martin and Nathan...Absolutely brilliant! That''s it..Nothing more to say.
The business...Everything was done brilliantly, within the time frame and on budget. The job site was absolutely and completely cleaned up and restored.
The owner, Gordon remained in contact at all time and visited on numerous occasions to ensure that I was happy with the build and to check the work. He rejected some material delivered by suppliers as scratched and ordered replacements. It was roofing...I would never of seen it but I saw him remonstrating with the delivery driver.
The Office Manager - Gordon's Daughter '-Jace kept me informed of council approvals and certification process and Invoiced me strictly as the agreement stated.
I am extremely happy with the entire process from the first visit to the last. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company for their quality of work, their tradesman and their business ethic. If they say they can do it then I would suggest that you put their quote to the top of the pile. Not because it will be the cheapest but because everyone that walks past it compliments you on the style and design.
Upon returning to my vehicle that had been parked in a shopping centre I noticed a small depression in the front bumper near the apex of the right wheel well. The bumper had been slightly dislodged from its mountings and the plastic had been torn. After removing the inner wheel arch cover and reattaching the bumper it was clear that this would require a plastic weld / repair of some description. I came upon Bumpertech on the web and gave them a call. Within 24 hours I had a visit and was told that it could be fixed back to new. It would require the repair and the corner of the bumper to be blended. (About 1/4 of the bumper. The car is a Calais V in Metallic Red Sizzle. It is fixed, sprayed, blended, cleared and now polished. And I have to tell you. Try as I may I can not find any trace of the repair or the damage. Repair comes with a 5 year warranty. The technician was very professional and was somewhat of a artist. Good work boys! Got a scrape or damage to a plastic bumper...Call these guys!

I have been using GDE for years (12+) for my seasonal delivery of firewood. The wood is always first rate in both quality and size. Price is always close if not the best and delivery service is excellent. However, the true measure of a business I believe is when something goes wrong. Recently I had a problem with a delivery that was an error on their part. In short, they under delivered. The truck simply did not have all of the wood on board that I had paid for. The driver was not aware of this and I really only could prove it in my own mind when I had stacked it away neatly. I made a phone call to GDE. Was put through to the GM and within 24hrs the balance was delivered. So I guess being a long time customer helped but it was fixed without fuss without delay and with the usual courtesy. I'm still a customer and I would encourage others who are looking for firewood to give them a call.
So, if the Quality of the food and service is 5 star why you ask do I only rate them 3 stars.. And here is why! I have been going to this place for years, Ice cream with the kids, somewhere local to meet clients and breakfast or lunch from time to time when we shop. I used to think that it was a win win. I was a regular and they regularly served me. Now, over the years we as consumers have been directed to increasingly use our "plastic" and to some extent discouraged in using cash. In fact there are any number of establishments where you can not pay for a service unless you are providing some form of credit card details. And for this privilege we pay interest rates that are frankly legal robbery. However, like good little people we have obliged. But to add insult to injury I was shocked and disappointed to be confronted a couple of days ago by the customer in front of me being told that there was a 20c charge for all credit card transactions. OK, I think to myself, must be a charge imposed for a purchase below a certain limit. Nope, this charge was being levied on ALL credit card transactions no matter what the amount. Is it not enough that we as consumers get stuck already with exorbitant bank fees? "Paywave" was introduced to permit us to show and go..this was convenient. This coffee club does not have paywave and they wish to charge me a fee to use my Amex, Mastercard or Visa. I paid cash. But there is a principle here. It is a privilege for them to have our custom...not a right and if I pay using a credit card then why should I pay anymore. Now I know that we sometimes do get hit with a percentage here and there when we pay by card, usually however if we produce another card the charge is removed. Maybe I am being a little too sensitive, maybe I am getting older, or maybe I am sick and tired of having little charges sneak in that after a while we accept as the norm. I am NOT going back.
The staff are excellent. The food is really good. The owner is a coward making a decision and then having the staff face the Customer.

Sit down, make yourself comfortable, and relax with a Coffee before you read this review...I FOUND ONE! Remember the days when businesses existed because of their customers? A place where customers are the reason they exist? A place where they answer their phones on Sunday..( even though they are not open ). Well I found a business that turned back the clock to the late 80's when it comes to the provision of service. My initial contact was on a Sunday afternoon when I spoke to the owner about a modification I wanted made to an inflatable dinghy. Following this I took the Dinghy in on Monday. Nothing major..I needed a pair of Davit pads stuck to the pontoon. I met one of their techs who helped me get the boat out of the backseat...(60kg rolled up) I explained the situation and he offered valuable advice that I had not considered in the context of the job at hand. In addition, he then indicated that he could actually tidy up the less than attractive "mess' left by another dealer / owner. He quoted me a price...He stuck to the Price...It was ready on time for collection a few hours ago. I have now collected the item, these guys are dealers for Zodiac inflatables and other things like life rafts and other marine safety gear. The showroom is well laid out, the Workshop is very well organised and clearly these guys have sales, service, and repairs down to a process and Science. The techs are of an "experienced" age as well as the younger member I saw. All in all the staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and very very helpful. If you are looking to buy an inflatable, get one repaired, need some inflatable safety gear and you wish to do it with staff that will talk to you then I would recommend this business over others I have used in Brisbane. But this is to be expected from a business that is now 23 years old.. Well Done!
An italian Restaurant, in Sunnybank run by chinese. Sound a bit funny? We have been using Di Luna for bites to eat when we go shopping. It feels like a family run business ( Could be wrong here ) The food is pretty good both in quality and value. Where they do fall down is in Customer Service. They are friendly enough but just miss the mark when it comes to attention to detail. Things like delivering your meals but missing out on repeat orders for drinks because they do not follow up. Having said all of this. We will continue to go back as the food is good and as I said the value is more than acceptable.

A couple of years ago our boat suffered a couple of knocks down the starboard side whilst at dock. I did the repair but needed someone to match and paint the repaired areas. I contacted a paint / panel supply company for a recommendation and was introduced to Bill Walsh. Bill colour matched the boat and blended the painted areas very well indeed. A couple of weeks later my wifes new car picked up stone chip in a door. Black car...she was not happy. All fixed...All gone. This afternoon Bill was back to repair the same black car. Imagine that a giant cat had clawed the bonnet. Actually a couple of external Xmas decorations that were stored in the garage had fallen onto the bonnet but you get the type of damage. These were bad enough to consider having the bonnet resprayed by a panel beater. Bill spent an hour on the car this afternoon and now unless you know where precisely to look the repairs are undetectable. Bill rated the fix at about 90% but I think that he is being harsh on himself. We live in Calamvale and the boat is at Jacobs Well. I know Bill does work all over Brisbane. When it happened and we saw the damage we wanted to get it repaired urgently. It really annoyed us. But Bill is worth waiting for. He drives a little red car and it is amazing to see the set up in the back of his vehicle. When it happens to you...take a breath, have a stiff drink, calm down and call Bill. In my opinion he is worth the wait if he can not get to you the same day and his honesty and attention to detail is quite pleasing
