avoid at all costs.

On my last car the rear bumper was so badly repaired by Gold Coast Bumper Tech that Gold Coast Mazda couldn't fit a new part on it!
Other issues have been over spray on all windows and a botched $800 (cash, no receipt) front bumper repair with pock marks on my current car.
A near enough is good enough work ethic doesn't cut it and all jobs were rushed.
When ever I hear the Gold Coast Bumper Tech advertisements on the local radio station I cringe.

Thanks Ken for a highly proficient and meticulous job on my wife's car today. We are both very happy with it. I don't think you should have been at work today but we're glad you were and I think Bumper Tech should be proud to have a young man like you working for them on the Sunshine Coast. Highly recommend and would use Bumper Tech again in a flash.

Upon returning to my vehicle that had been parked in a shopping centre I noticed a small depression in the front bumper near the apex of the right wheel well. The bumper had been slightly dislodged from its mountings and the plastic had been torn. After removing the inner wheel arch cover and reattaching the bumper it was clear that this would require a plastic weld / repair of some description. I came upon Bumpertech on the web and gave them a call. Within 24 hours I had a visit and was told that it could be fixed back to new. It would require the repair and the corner of the bumper to be blended. (About 1/4 of the bumper. The car is a Calais V in Metallic Red Sizzle. It is fixed, sprayed, blended, cleared and now polished. And I have to tell you. Try as I may I can not find any trace of the repair or the damage. Repair comes with a 5 year warranty. The technician was very professional and was somewhat of a artist. Good work boys! Got a scrape or damage to a plastic bumper...Call these guys!

Approximate cost: $275
