Yatala Pies is defiently worth a shot however you will get hooked! Defiently reccomend adding pea mash to your pies because it adds a delicious element. And also reccomend trying some of the sweets, affordable and friendly staff. last time i visited was cash only so try to bring some of that along otherwise there is a ATM available.

The Animal Welfare League is a great orgnaisation which recieves no government funding so it is important for the community to support them in all the great work that they do. The vet services are the cheapest I have found and they have really lovely staff there. The AWL has a zero euthanashia policy so all their saved puppies, kittens, cats, dogs and other animals will stay there until a family will take them to their forever homes so please stop in to adopt your next pet and save their lifes.

Great place for pancakes, both savoury and sweet. Macadamia pancakes are delicous and milkshakes in all sorts of flavours. Reasonably prices for a descent stack of pancakes, a must try!

Runaway Bay Tavern disapointed me in their lack of vegetarian options but the only thing available, the veggie stack as an entre was suprisingly very nice and plenty on there that can substitute for a main meal. Avergae pub prices and nice atmosphere.

Most Affordable Sushi on the Gold Coast! This is a great little sushi place with all your usual goodies at a very cheap price. Grab a loyalty card and you get further discounts as well as 20% vouchers for rainy days. Udon soups are great as well as their hot food selection like soy beans, spring rolls, dim sims, tofu, corn and miso soups. They even have salmon miso soup!

Grill'd at Robina Town Centre is the best hamburger place we have been to - burgers are more pricey than fast food but same as cafe/resturants. They are also massive! if you can eat it without falling apart your doing well but goes to show how much goodies they put into them! If you can fit it in defiently reccomend some of the herb chips!

Legends Cafe at Harbour Town has a really unique feel with all of its memorabilia covering every inch of its walls. The food is descent however pretty average prices for a cafe. There is so much to look at and plenty of conversation starters. The vegetarian turkish sandwhich is amazing with eggplant, capsicum, fetta and other goodies. BUT you must try the drinks -fresh juices, milkshakes, iced coffees and frappes - all worth a shot!

Really good Thai food and at an affordable price! Spring rolls are different and interesting and they do a delicious pad thai.
