Food was okay but not great. In terms of value for money, this place is not overly expensive but I can very easily find better value in the city or Chinatown. The service is shockingly bad. Chef and waiting staff often show an attitude of indifference. They treat their customers with contempt.

An excellent place for a casual lunch or a casual dinner by yourself or with family and friends.

Dishes served are mostly Chinese, specifically Cantonese style of cooking.

The food is generally tasty sometimes a little too salty but most of the time, it is good.

The service is friendly and the bill will not break our bank accounts!

This is what is known as a ‘Hong Kong Style Café’. The ‘milk tea’ (both hot and cold) is particularly worth trying but the menu is really impressively diverse – slightly expensive though…

I flew back from Melbourne to Sydney this afternoon. I was going to grab a snack onboard the flight but the price was extortionate. So, when I landed just before 1500hrs, I was quite hungry. But I knew I was also meeting a few good mates for dinner so all I wanted was a snack or two.

I picked up my car and decided to go to one of my favourite curry places. Curry Monitor is situated on St Johns Ave in Gordon near my residence in the North Shore and within walking distance from Gordon Train Station.

I ordered an onion Bhajji ($1.50) and a Vegetarian Samosa ($2). They were both delicious and we should all really try them.

Had not been to Curry Monitor at Gordon for a while and decided to return because I am always rather impressed by the quality of their food and service. It is not overly expensive either.

I ordered the Tandoori Nan Roll today ($6). It was delicious. I walked in hungry but walked out satisfied. It was worth the money.

I recommend Curry Monitor and its Tandoori Nan Roll

Approximate cost: $9

The quality of food is very acceptable. The service is friendly and personable. The value is great - some $10 specials as well as some decent affordable dishes. Overall - great!

The staffs who work here are very competent and really know, generally speaking, what they are doing. The services especially in terms of ISP (Internet Service Provider) are very affordable.

Discovered this place while picking up my brother and his family from the airport. Looked busy, which was a good sign. Excellent coffee (no extra cost for an extra shot / strong coffee). Staff were friendly and nice and the food was not too bad either. I had a ham and cheese crossiant.
