LOVE this Indian food. Now THIS is how Indian food is meant to be. Full of spices and fresh ingredients that you can SEE not just a coloured sauce from a can (ahem *Indian Brothers). Lots of different dishes to try here. We've been going here for years.
Pricing for two.

Not really my cup of tea. I like to enjoy a nicely put together meal, full of flavour and something different to what I would cook at home when I spend money to go out to dinner. We tried this once for a date night against my better judgment - just to try something different - and yes, I should have listened to myself. Why pay for a nice night out when all you get is splatter stains on one of your favourite top, a boring steak (no marinade even) that you have to cook yourself and what seemed like plain old frozen veggies. I get the concept, but its not just feasible for a long term restaurant. I really am surprised they are still open. People must just not know how to cook at home more than I realized if they think that's worth paying money for.

I never got to go here but it is closed now. It was located in the evergreen centre and there is now a Brazillian BBQ Restaurant there.

Love having drive through coffee available at the top of North Lakes! The staff are always so friendly and lovely and get through the orders nice and fast. Although my coffee is sometimes burnt so it can be a bit hit & miss with that. I still go though because everyone is so nice and it is convenient.
I order almond milk and sometimes decaf as well so it can be really expensive for a coffee.

This isn't open in North Lakes anymore. It closed a good year ago maybe. There is now a Charlie's Raw Squeeze and MooFree Burgers in its place - which are great by the way.

Great coffee. For quite some time this was the only quality coffee available in North Lakes. My bestie also loves that they have coco-quench, her favorite coconut milk available. Just wish they had more gluten & dairy free food options.

Not a fan of Shingle Inn at all. Maybe if you like boring, dry cakes and bad coffee. I think a lot of people go here just for the nostalgia of it all. I had a Mediterranean Melt here once and it was so not worth the ridiculous price I paid for it. I'm a cook and I would be embarrassed to serve their food - even more embarrassed to be silly enough to go back and pay for more of it.

This cafe isn't open anymore. It was located in the evergreen centre and Told You So Cafe is in its place - much better. Owners now run Tiffany's High Tea cafe across from Lake Eden. Decor is really cute and high tea is perfect for taking out the ladies or little ladies.
