I love this place for casual dining- tasty food, large servings and a great price. Mains are around $10-14 and for that, you get quite a large serve. Don't expect fine dining in terms of atmosphere, decore or service- just low-key, unpretentious, hearty meal.
A great selection of hand-made noodles - in soup, stir-fry, chopped. You get to witness it being made through the glass wall- tossing and stretching the dough into thick strands of tasty noodle. They also have pan cakes, dumplings, and dishes to go with rice. This is bigger than their Burwood restaurant (of the same name). All just across the road from Westfield.
Tip: waitresses have limited English and they only take cash. You can always just point at the pictures in the menu, on the wall, or the table sitting next to you :)

2014- Came here on a Friday night. Interior is dim and a little louder than what I prefer. Staff is attentive throughout the evening. Food came without much wait. Bruschetta tasty but bread was a bit thick. My pizza looked great, but was quite bland, to my disappointment. I'm afraid I can't agree with the other reviewers on the taste. Good service doesn't make up for the lack of flavour, I'm afraid.
2015 update- Second visit. Very busy and noisy inside, as before. Food came very quickly. Pizza menu changed and this time the 2 vegetarian pizzas were delicious! Thin crust, so isn't very filling. Tried to come back a week later but the waiting time was just too long. It's also very noisy. I like dinner conversation without having to lean over and shout. Shame, because the pizza is one of the best on Church St.

Bought take-away from here twice. Speedy service and tasty food at a great price. Can't go wrong! Haven't dined in, but the decor looks pretty good- esp for this price! :)

Ok food, Ok service, Ok ambience. Not worth the money though. Probably won't be going back again.
(We ordered several pizzas and a risotto. Risotto was far too rich. My friend couldn't finish it.)

Have only been there once- and never again. Ordered pizza and risotto. Risotto was ok, but the pizza was under-cooked. The dough was still raw, even though topping was cooked. We set it back, asking it to be placed back in the oven. They made us a new one, but dough was still under-cooked. Sent it back again, asking it to be just put BACK in oven. 3rd pizza came- still under-cooked. Staff also reminded us that it's the 3rd pizza they have made us, fresh. Staff was un-curteous, despite a valid claim (uncooked food!), and told us "If it's cooked any more, it would be burnt". The manager did tell us that they were having a problem with their ovens that night.
Slow service, under-cooked food, poor attitude of staff, not exactly value-for-money either. Not recommended.

One of my fave eateries in Wollongong. Don't expect fancy decor, but it's a quick, delicious meal that's great value for money. Good range of dishes at affordable prices. Super fast service. Have been going for a few years and has always been consistent (except, serving size has been getting a little smaller). Great as take-away too.

One of my favourite restaurants in Wollongong. Excellent price, great flavour, speedy service. Unbeatable for a great value meal. Not the type of place to try and impress a 1st date or work Xmas party, but is my usual haunt with bf when we eat out.
One time, I accidentally ordered a dish which I had assumed was vegetarian, but actually had chicken. They promptly replaced it with a vegetarian version, no questions asked!
Also great for take-away. Highly recommended!

I have been going to Kurt Dean for several years. Always been extremely happy with his friendly but professional service and honest advice. The staff are also welcoming and warm. Even though there are plenty of dentists offering "no-gap" check-ups, I would much rather pay more for top-quality service. Cannot recommend this practice enough! Thank you! :) Now that I have moved, it's to my great sadness that I have to find another dentist... :(

Had gel nails removed and reapplied by Diana. Good service and attention to detail. Nail polish was removed with acetone-soaked cotton balls, wrapped in foil on my nails- unlike the horrible experience of having it all grinded off with a drill from a franchised nail salon.
Must call in to book an appointment. Also has mobile service available.

I went to have gel nails removed and reapplied. The proper procedure is to have it soaked off by acetone and gently scraped off the nail. The nail technician who attended to me, used a tool (like a drill) to buff away all of my existing polish- taking also a good layer of my own nails along with it. Left my nails very thin. This is not the proper way to do it! Some of my nails had cracked horizontally as a result (later covered up by nail polish). When I questioned her this as she was doing this, she stopped attempting to remove ALL of the polish with the drill and only removed most of the polish, then soaked the rest off.
Nail polish also chipped on the second day.
Never going back again. If I do, my nails will be paper thin after 2 visits.
Cheap, but not worth it. Going back to my regular nail technician, who is NOT working in a chain store. Just want to let others know so you know what you're in for! :(
