A very average Thai restaurant. Service, food, value - average. They did not have my favourite Thai dish on the menu either (Yellow Chicken Curry)! Would recommend if you are in the vicinity and need a meal but certainly don't go out of your way.

I have always been happy with the work I've had done here (with the lovely Chantelle). My only complaints would as others have mentioned, revolve around the price - $270 for a cut and colour is a little excessive. Staff are all very pleasant but if I looked hard I think I could find the same at a more affordable price point. If not for the price they would have a very regular customer in me.

Reception and dentists are friendly and helpful but the value leaves a lot to be desired. The prices here are significantly more than other dentists in the area - for the exact same procedure. I have spent hundreds more here than I would have if I had gone elsewhere. I now have a new dentist and the service and quality of work I receive is superior - and I've saved a lot of money.

I would also question whether this practice over does it - the way I was going with them, I would have had almost every tooth filled (starting with none when I began my visits). My new dentist has said I do not need any more fillings whilst this practice had me down for another handful.

I would hesitate in recommending this practice unless desperate, well aware of what you need done and have money to burn.

If I could give negative stars I would. This place is one example of - if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. I went in after seeing a special in the newspaper for a half head of foils, cut, blow dry and more for only $75. I knew I wouldn't be getting a top of the range hairdresser but I thought - it can't be that bad. It was worse than I could have imagined. My scalp was badly burned, my hair was broken throughout, I lost a significant amount of hair in the process of the foils and washing and more since - and that's just my hair health, nevermind the disgusting shade of orange/yellow I now live with. I have never had anything like this, my hair is naturally dark blonde so highlights have never turned out bad. I don't know how they managed to do it, but they did.

The service was atrocious. The hairdresser I had demonstrated a complete lack of concern when I questioned the results. I did so in a sensitive way until she became defensive and then told me "it's just hair". Hang on - it's just hair?! It's just MY hair. My long hair that I have grown for years, that you have just ruined. Yes, it's just hair. What an attitude to have toward a customer!

It was also obvious that there were people carrying out tasks that we not qualified to do so. I'm sure half the staff are apprentices who are being paid next to nothing and are doing jobs that they shouldn't be doing for friends never mind paying customers.

And then, the final blow to the face came at payment. The price suddenly jumped from $75 to $120. They stated "long hair". To their defense, they did quote me over the phone for long hair but the price was $95 - not $120. I mentioned this and it was dismissed. Stupidly, regrettably - I paid. I have seen reviews on other websites from people with similar experiences but they had the guts to stand up for themselves and not pay.

I cannot and will not recommend this establishment to others.

I first went to Family Dental Care due to cost. Their prices were significantly lower than my previous dentist. Due to the price difference I didn't have high expectations. Now, I couldn't be happier with this practice. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. The dentist I have seen a couple of times is Dr Sawsan Shiyab. She is wonderful. She is friendly, caring [redacted clinical content] highly recommend Dr Shiyab.
