Excellent fish and chips. Good value. They have a lovely range of fresh fish available to select to cook. We go once a fortnight but I sometimes find an excuse to go once a week!
Friendly staff and lovely food. The only negative is that on busy nights they take a while and the chips and potato cakes aren't as good as normal nights.

They also have a little tractor for the kids to ride while waiting on your dinner!

They have quite a few snack packs ranging from $4.60 for a kids pack to $6.90 for a pack with flake, potato cake, dim sim and chips to $35 for a large family pack.

They also do souvlaki, burgers, steak sandwiches and milk-shakes.
Open Tuesday - Sunday 11am - 8pm, and Friday 11am - 8:30pm.

Approximate cost: $6.90

Really, really nice take away food. I ordered the spring rolls just to fill the kids up but now I go back as often as I can as they are just beautiful. Home made foods, asian and indian style. There is an eat in area, and the walls are filled with interesting asian groceries. The prices for the take away food is really good value and they also supply home made frozen meals to heat up later.
Their opening hours are Tues - Friday 12pm - 6pm and Sat and Sun 10am - 5pm.

A really nice surprise!

I love the pizza's here - we are a bit fussy with our pizza's and they get it just right. All their meals are great tasting and pretty good value. A great place to take the kids after shopping, or a great place to eat out at night. Excellent all-rounder.

A well thought out mix of books, with the latest releases mixed in with interesting classics. There is a good kids section in the back room, and she also buys and sells good quality second hand books which can be found in the side room. A lovely atmosphere is to be had with subtle music playing, with the owner to be found sitting reading quietly near her lovely cat who watches over the store.

U can do art is wonderful. There are three sections in this lovely shop - 1) Art supplies (high quality and well priced), 2) Art lessons - the art lessons area caters for all ages - I enrolled my daughter when she was only three! There are normal lessons, or school age lessons for during school holidays to keep little ones busy. 3) Art books area - with comfortable sitting chairs for reading at your leisure.
Artist Maria Dee is there to answer all your questions, and there is always a vast amount of good quality artwork from local artists on display for viewing and purchase.
Take some time out to visit!

Food is quite nice, kids can run around a bit outside, but I was disappointed that the prices and food options have moved up to "restaurant" when it used to be "Bistro". My expectations for a large type of place like this is a good hearty honest feed at a good budget price - however they seem to be reaching for the restaurant market, but I just don't think the atmosphere is right for this.
Meal was nice and a good size, but nothing on the menu under $20 except entrée and kids meals. I used to come here a couple of years back for a cheap, nice meal. The "special" board had a $19.90 gourmet pie and a $24.95 beef dish. This would be fine in a normal small restaurant, but this is a large quick in-out bistro and I would expect it to have a number of cheaper options available. The food was good enough, and the staff were friendly, however if I want restaurant food and price, I would prefer to go to a nice restaurant.

This review is for Big 4 South Durras Holiday Park, South Durras NSW

This is a great park. Nestled in a forest, with abundant wildlife such as kangaroos (one who came into our caravans annex!), possums, lorikeets, yellow tailed black cockatoos and more. Short stroll to a lovely, secluded long sandy beach, with some interesting rocks to clamber on. Some people were surfing, some swimming, although water a bit cold for my liking. Nice grassy sites at park, most with good shade. Some drive through sites, some ensuite sites. One slight negative is that some of the sites were on a little uneven ground, but only those closest to toilet block. Toilets/showers clean and new. Has an internet point for paid connection. Great heated swimming pool, salt water. Park provide cable which plugs into their high power antenna for tv receiving. Has bore and tank water so is great for those with skin allergies! Laundry takes $1 or $0.20 pieces, costs $3 per wash. Vending machine which sells lollies/drinks has a change dispenser changing notes to coins. Outdoor bbq areas are great. Has a great area with playground, ball court, open lawn, outdoor bigscreen television (with 2 movies every night from 6pm), and camp kitchen all in the one large area. Very family friendly. Camp kitchen has tv and books and table and chairs also. Has good family/disabled bathroom with baby bath. Quiet spot, has lovely cabins at the front, shop which sells ice-creams and a few essentials. Has some permanent sites at the back of the park, however these are only used as holiday homes, only 2 people were in them at the time I visited. This caravan park also hires out a buggy which holds 4 people, 2 of which sit in the rear and peddle, at $15 per hour. Camp sites were $30, but they gave us 1 night free after paying for 3. No houses etc nearby, very good park. Seems a little expensive, however best value for money over this area. Very worth a visit. Only 15 mins to Batemans Bay.

This review is for Macnamara's Irish Pub, Kilmore VIC

Highly recommend, fantastic food at reasonable prices, excellent friendly service.
I went here expecting a fairly basic pub. Instead I found a warm and inviting pub, with separate little bistro room filled with character and hospitality. Excellent Irish music was playing gently in the background and the food was so much more than I had expected. They not only have the basic pub meals with an Irish twist, but they also offer more gourmet options - without the gourmet price tag. Quite a few vegetarian options which is rare for a country pub. Good price, and also had kids meals for $7.95 including large sized meal, drink and dessert. My father had the Irish stew, and he swears it was as good as the one he had in Dublin! Highly recommend. Will be going back!

This review is for The Kilmore And District Hospital, Kilmore VIC

This is a lovely little hospital.
It may not have some of the services some of the major hospitals have, but for ongoing care, obstetrics, initial accident and emergency etc they are great. You get the care and attention they just can't provide in the large hospitals.
I had my child by cesarean section here and their care and attention was wonderful. There is an after hours A & E area, although being a small town they do not always have a doctor on duty at night (there is a triage nurse if no doctor available). The radiology department are friendly and attentive and the hospital is in a quiet, calm position. Any major cases that they may not have facilities for can be transferred to the Northern Hospital at Epping which is only 40 mins away. They cater for both private and bulk billing clients.

This is the best team of doctors I have ever come across.
I stumbled across them some years back and they have been our family's doctor ever since. All the doctors are very intelligent, logical and thoughtful and have seen us through many an illness. Dr. Nicole and Dr. John made themselves available to deliver my baby boy at the Kilmore hospital and went out of their way to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. They are a fabulous family clinic. This is a list of their services taken from their website:
* Ante-natal care, Obstetrics / Delivery
* Check-ups Care plans, Health Assessments
*Counselling
* Drug and alcohol counselling
* ECG: Heart check; Blood tests
* Family planning, Pap smears, Pregnancy tests
* Liquid nitrogen 'freezing' therapy
* Minor surgery: stitching cuts, removal of lesions
* Pre Employment Medicals
* Spinal manipulation
* Spirometry
* Vaccination: children and travel
* Vasectomy, Hormone implants
* Weight control, Nutrition advice
* Specialist psychologist on site

Highly recommend to all.
