Some really good doctors here. But one or two doctors who seam like they are just there because they are filling in time and don't really like seeing clients (lucky if they see 1 an hour).
I like that the center has many services under one roof, such as radiology, physio, dental, pathology and a chemist, but I do not like the no appointment system as you can wait for hours for a GP unless you request to see one of the efficient ones, when they are in.
I wish we would see more of the good receptionists and less of the ones who have grown comfortable with a "the client can wait" attitude. I feel that the management / ownership of the center has an attitude that if the client is being bulk billed then the client's time is worth nothing so they should wait, even if the client is in pain. Examples include; 1/ inadequate staffing on reception and a reception queue that can take 25 minutes to clear before you are even in the queue to see a doctor and, 2/ calling long meetings for all doctors without pre-advising clients when this will occur. But that's what you get with a management culture offering cattle class processing.
To recap, some doctors who are really good in their own right and try to improve the experience for the client, but a center/ client management / client experience philosophy that seems to be more about cornering the market than giving a stuff about the customer experience. When I can I use a home visiting doctor instead (e.g. evenings).

We had 22 LED down-lights installed as a swap-out for our halogen units. We chose 10Watt units based on our discussion with Craig from Switched On Electrical & Lighting. The company described these to us as lights they install in commercial application. So far very pleased. The lights are brighter than our 50watt halogens were, and the light quality and dispersion is better. The lights are a sealed unit with their own driver and we feel that the few (yes only a few) dollars more per light, compared to those mobs who are marketing themselves heavily on TV and print media, for the extra quality and service was well worth it. The installers were very tidy, polite, eager to please and even cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend Switched On Electrical & Lighting Solutions to anyone considering LED down-lights.

Approximate cost: $1000
