The best place in Australia for all things Lavender!!!

The time to go here is in the summer months when the lavender is in full bloom just before they harvest it. It costs $7.50 per adult to enter the site at this time but is worth it. All other times it costs you nothing to get in. They have a wide selection of lavender products to buy and there café sells lavender flavoured scones, milkshakes, ice creams, which taste exactly how lavender smells.

Highly recommend going!

Approximate cost: $7.50 per adult when Lavender is in season

Stopped at this little gem on a trip from Launceston and was very surprised. This place makes the best coffee and I am happy to drive the 30 minutes regularly to get my fix. The service is also fantastic and they are very friendly. The inside is very cosy and they even have a fireplace for those cold days. The location is very scenic, quiet and relaxing. I Highly recommend stopping here for coffee and a bight to eat!!!

I had heard rave reviews about this place and it's pasta that i had to try it. The pasta tasted good, although it did need more flavour and was really cheap. My only annoyance that stops me from giving a higher rating is the pasta dishes, although using fresh pasta, are not cooked on a stove or anything, they are microwaved, yes microwaved, which was a big let down.

Approximate cost: $From $6.30

This review is for The Shop In The Bush, St Helens TAS

This place looks great on the outside and being in the middle of the bush makes it unique. There is lots of tings in the shop to look at from antiques to second hand books and souvenirs.
They claim to be the best store of it's type in Tasmania, but the selection of products to buy were not great, the prices were very high and none really interested me. I've been to many better antique and bric a brac stores in Tasmania.

I have found the vets at this country veterinary clinic to be just fantastic. They are ultra friendly and really look after your pet as your own. They take their time with you and your pet and are more than happy to answer any questions you have. Waiting times are very quick and prices for products are not to bad. I highly recommend everyone to take their pets here to keep them nice and healthy.

I tried one of the Cottage Bakery's award winning pies and it was great! The pastry was perfect and it was filled full of chunky meat with the perfect consistency of gravy.

The staff are very friendly and work with a smile. This place gets very busy but there is plenty of room to sit.

Before I even walked in the door I had the owner calling to me to come inside and try the best coffee as well as a customer outside telling me it truly is. Well I tried it and it was one of the best coffee's I have tasted and was made to perfection. The owner was fantastic, so friendly and a real character. Their toasted sandwich also tasted great.

As well as selling coffee they also sell boutique clothing.

This review is for Beechworth Sweet Co., Beechworth VIC

This sweet shop is one of the best! Located in historic Beechworth, this store is big and has so many sweets, chocolate and candies to choose from that it is hard to not spend much money here. The place also looks fantastic inside and you should be warned that photography is not allowed in the store it's that good.

This review is for Bellarine Adventure Golf, Barrabool VIC

One of the best mini golf courses in Australia! There are two 18 holes courses, The Mill and The Mountain. They are both very challenging to play, especially the mountain course, and are very fun to play on. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the prices are very good value.

Approximate cost: $13 for 18 Holes, $19 for 36 Holes

This review is for The Tangled Maze, Springmount VIC

This is a very attractive property with a nice sized maze. The maze was not too difficult and the 18 hole mini golf was fun but a little to easy. There isn't too much to do here and I felt the price was a little too much for what you get. Kids will still love it but it will not fill up your day.

Approximate cost: $16
