Whenever i'm in the city i go to Mike's for lunch because they are cheaper than most other cafes in the city. They sell a range of takeawy foods, pasta dishes, jacket potatoes, salad sandwiches & rolls, hot & cold drink & even have a carvery. There is no seating inside but out in the plaza there is heaps of tables & chairs. Great service, friendly staff

I quite often go to mojo music while i'm shopping in the city. They are a combined music store & coffee shop. I like to sit on the street out the front of the store enjoying a coffee while listening to music that they play & watching people walking by. They also sell concert tickets & stock a lot of global music & alternative stuff

i go to decorama to buy all of my lace & net curtsains because they have such good specials & the service is brilliant. They also measure, make & hang drapes if you dont want to do them yourself. their store is huge & they have a wide selection of fabrics to choose from

yum yum yum....amazing coffee, cake & slices. I meet friends here for coffee every week. The service is amazing & the staff are friendly. They sell a large range of cakes, slices, & delicious savouries & only use fresh ingredients

I went here a while back for coffee after work & really enjoyed it. The shop was rather small & cramped though & the guy serving wasnt real friendly but as i said, the coffee was delicious so i'd go back for sure

I like the furniture at Hymark although most is out of my price range. The staff are helpful but allow you space to browse at your leisure. They sell good quality furniture & that is why most of their prices are high. Really good service

I've bought many items of jewellery from stewarts jewellers over the last few years. I bought my mum a beautiful gold chain with a heart locket on it for xmas last year & i've bought watches, earrings, bracelets & bangles as well. The staff are helpful & their jewellery is of high quality.

I got tamar valley cake studio to make a christmas cake as a gift for my parents for christmas & I was so happy with the finished product & my parents were delighted with it. It was the most beautiful cake I had seen in a while & so much detail in it. I highly recommend them

Tasmania Zoo is situated in 900 acres of private native bushland and is home to the largest collection of native and exotic animals in Tasmania. They have over 80 species of birds, Tasmanian devils, penguins, crocodiles, wombats, echidna's, kangaroos, quolls, reptiles, monkeys and much more. The kids & I had a fantastic time here, we took a packed lunch & spent the whole day wandering around looking at the animals & feeding them. It was nice & relaxing sitting to eat a picnic lunch amongst the bushland & native animals. we had a competition to see who could find the most animals & turned it into a learning trip.

I've had both curtains & blinds made here & think they are brilliant. The service i recieved was second to none & they have a large range of fabrics to choose from, ranging from budget right through to more expensive fabrics like velvet. The staff were helpful when i couldnt decide on colours or fabric & when i had chosen what i wanted they made the curtains & blinds & fitted them when they were made. I couldnt ask for better service.
