I painted my entire house with paint that i purchased from wattyl. The choice of colours seems to be endless which made finding matching colour schemes easy. The staff are helpful & very knowledgeable of the products that they sell. Top quality paint at a reasonable price
The staff at this post shop are friendly but the wait time is terrible, especially on hot days when the air conditioning isnt working poroperly. I've had to stand in line for over half hour in the past because they just dont seem to have enough staff working
What a brilliant store. I stop here whenever i"m travelling between Hobart & Launceston. They sell the best Leather goods such as handbags, wallets, belts, mens & ladies clothing & shoes. I'm addicted to this shop & always save before going there so that I can have a big spend up. The prices arent overly expensive but a bit dearer than other stores....in saying that though, you pay for quality
One of my favourite dining locations along the tamar. The meals here are delicious & always cooked to perfection. The dining room is bright & looks over the Tamar river so the views are magnificent. In summer you can eat out on the terrace & enjoy the sunshine & in winter stay in the dining room & be warmed by the open log fire. The atmosphere is friendly & casual. Love this hotel
I used to buy all my plastic takeaway containers from here for freezing meals for my daughter to reheat in the microwave. They also sell aluminium reheating food containers for the oven & paper bags, plastic bags, boxes & gift packaging. The service is brilliant & the staff help you locate what you need & they are very friendly, nothing is too much trouble.
I've been to the Ophir Hotel many times for meals, functions & social evenings. The staff are friendly, especially the bar staff. The atmosphere is relaxed which I like because I dont need to dress up just to go out for a meal. The meals are delicious & the dining room is cosy. A really nice country pub
I've stayed at the vic a few times & although the hotel itself isnt 5 star the service is. The hotel is very comfortable, the rooms are neat & tidy. the rooms include a bar fridge with fresh milk, tea & coffee, a kettle, iron & ironing board, bardrobe with hangers, ensuite bathroom with a shower & toilet & hairdryer. The rooms all have large screen tvs & airconditioners. for an extra $14 you can also include breakfast in the price of your room. breakfast is served at Alices restaurant & is a full buffet breakfast, this option is well worth the money, for $14 everyone in your room can eat breakfast....now thats unbeatable, you cant even get breakfast at maccas cheaper
I went to the China Garden a few weeks ago with my mum & sisters for my mums birthday dinner & loved loved loved it. From the time we were seated we were made feel as though we were the only people in the restaurant, the waitresses were quick to get us what ever we wanted. Once our meals were ordered they came out quickly & were piping hot. The food was delicious, real authentic chinese taste. Our whole night was made wonderful by the staff. Many thanks to them
I rook my daughter to Emma's place to have her hair done for her grade 10 leavers' dinner & was absolutely delighted at how beautiful she made my daughter look. Emma cut her hair & then did an up style & the whole time she was asking for my daughters opinion & making changes if asked. It was so comfortable to be able to sit in emma's home & have a cuppa while I waited & i was even able to take my younger children with me
I like travelling with tassie link, the buses are clean & smell good & theyre air conditioned. Safety is number one with tassie link & they ensure that their drivers drive within the speed limit or slower if necessary. The transit centre itself is very roomy & clean & there are always daily newspapers & magazines to read. within the centre there is a visitor information centre, a cafe & plenty of clean toilets. A bus trip to Hobart is about $35 for adults, $12 for pensioners & $1 for anyone with student id
