I'm not one to usually review businesses, but I had such an amazing experience at Makardi that I just had to share it! All of the staff are so friendly and genuinely interested in you, your day and what you want. They are a hilarious bunch that you can see really love what they do and take pride in their work.
The service was so amazing, from the welcome, to the delicious herbal tea and the comfortable, relaxed atmosphere- the massage I got while getting my hair washed almost put me to sleep. I would pay for that massage alone!
John my hairdresser listened to what I wanted and suggested (without being pushy) an absolutely to DIE FOR COLOUR that everyone is commenting on! I just can't rave enough about this great little salon that's tucked into the Monnee Ponds plaza complex. It reminded me what a special and fun experience getting pampered is really about! I recommend you definitely give it a go!
