Item (note 4) came with a counterfeit battery. Replacement was also counterfeit. Third battery sent was genuine. Item was sent from overseas, which accounts for the long order "processing" time. Phone wouldn't update so was instructed to update via Odin. Phone died after 4 months and was told warranty was void. Phone wasn't covered under warranty due to "modified software". Only software changes were done using Odin under instructions, plus ota updates from Samsung. Only other option is that product came with Knox already tripped, which matches what others have stated. Now have a protracted wait to see if the ACCC can help. Have been advised by becextech to put down their Hong Kong office in my complaint, despite the website stating they are an Australian company. Dodgy. Not to mention my phone/brick is sitting in a repair shop in Sydney somewhere without a clear avenue for being returned.
