As a first time mum, breastfeeding was one of many challenges I found hard to navigate. In hospital I struggled with supply and I couldn’t get my daughter to latch which was really stressful and upsetting. Then I met Leonie. Her professionalism from the moment I contacted her was outstanding. She is responsive, punctual and present in every interaction, which unfortunately isn’t always the case in the maternal health system. Her tailored advice lead to a positive breast feeding experience for me. Most importantly, she was the only person who had my daughter and my best interest at heart. She had my back 100% of the time, and took care of my mental health as well as my babies growth and development. I would often refer to Leonie as my cheerleader because she celebrated every little win I had and gave me encouragement to persevere even when I was losing faith.  

Leonie is, without a doubt the reason I could breastfeed.
