Pet insurance is generally expensive but PIA was the best I found when I got my puppy. While the fortnightly payments might seem high, especially if you make a small claim and the excess absorbs most of the return, think of it more as a plan for major emergencies and incidents that you might have trouble paying for when your pet gets into real trouble. Customer service is friendly and efficient but they do need to improve their online portal interface.
