This review is for GG Espresso Surry Hills, Surry Hills NSW

The coffee here at GG's rather fine. I enjoy being able to pick one up early mornings without too much of a wait. The staff are efficient and pleasant. The prices are also very reasonable. If I were to suggest any improvement, I would recommend a revamp of the interior fit out - it is a little gloomy. Still, the coffee is what counts.

This tiny little pizza cafe provides a great, wholesome service to the local community. The pizzas are freshly made and customisable. I like the feel of the cafe - being warm and friendly. Definitely not a chain-style, not the overpriced gourmet style. I think this pizza place has the balance just right! The prices are decent too. I recommend.

This review is for McLeod's Antiques, Paddington NSW

This antique reseller has a wide range of home decor, specialising in smaller items such as lighting, vases and small furniture items (rather than large pieces). The store is jam packed with items to dig through. I found the staff to be quiet and polite - no pushy sales performance. The prices are reasonable I guess for Sydney - although still quite expensive on the scheme of things. If you're after a bargain - don't expect one here.

This review is for Eternal Glow Beauty & Nails, Erina NSW

This is a sweet little beauty salon, providing all the basic services associated with beauty salons. Don't expect first class, but the girls are caring and competent and go out of their way to make you as a customer feel satisfied. Prices are reasonable, and there is a good selection of colours for polish.

Decent coffee, decent service, very decent view. I particularly like the hand made cookies. It would be nice to see a little more professionalism in the kitchen... but all in all - a good little coffee shop.

This review is for Davistown Cafe & Takeaway, Davistown NSW

I love this cafe for cheap and cheerful local take out. Don't expect gourmet delicacies - but do expect decent sandwiches and takeaway chips! I warm to this little establishment, for its homeliness and honest small-business feel.

This review is for Cafe Cressa, Kincumber NSW

This cafe is reasonably priced, and of a standard quality in terms of staff service and food/coffee. What is lacking however is a healthy menu! Times are a changing, and this cafe needs to step up to the modern requirements of health-conscious eating! If you're a coffee and cake kind of person, this issue is not a concern - the coffees are in fact quite good.

This review is for Matcham Hall, Matcham NSW

verified email - 21 Feb 2013

This historic hall is an icon to the local Matcham area. Nestled in amongst the trees, the hall stands proud, and charms all guests. I hired this venue out for a party last year and was very satisfied. Its old, so don't expect glamour, but appreciate the basic features it supplies. Enjoy the privacy of the location and the old world charm. All in all, basic but a winner. And affordable!

This review is for The Professionals, Wamberal NSW

I have had the experience of selling several houses during my lifetime, and therefore have experienced varying sales methods, agent personalities and business modes of operation within the field of real estate. The Professionals at Wamberal were a breath of fresh air - knowledgeable, competent and not pushy! I felt like I was dealing with someone on my own level, as opposed to the newer commission-driven sales people - who I struggle to relate to! The Professionals had my home sold within weeks, and with a smooth problem-free transaction. For me, experience prevails over marketing - and the Professionals have plenty of this. Thank you - for once I actually enjoyed the process.

This review is for Jims Cleaning, Gosford NSW

This company provides a very affordable cleaning service for the Central Coast area. For this reason I am happy to continue with their services. They do however have very interesting methods of Invoicing - I did not receive my first bill until 6 months afterwards. They also lack in communication - I have found that some days they do not visit as planned, and therefore I have had to chase them up. They should have told me in advance. They also have complained about the dirtiness of the bathroom (caused by Industrial dust). I found myself apologising to them, however in hindsight now see the ridiculousness of my doing so! Why else would we have a cleaner?
